Safe walking distance to downtown Canton St, the Cultural Arts Center, Primrose Cottage, Kimball Hall, Gate City Brewery, Naylor Hall, and more.

This a 4BR, 2BA single family home on a corner street. Adjacent to the home is City Hall. Enough parking for 6+ cars.

We describe this house as an older home that has some modern updates with the kitchen and bathrooms a bit dated but clean, comfy, and spacious for larger groups that need to pack a lot of sleepers.

Washer & Dryer is on-site, but is in the unfinished basement accessible via padlock from the parking area of the house. We are upfront about this as it's one of the only untraditional things about this listing.

The parking area is on the back of the house with plenty of parking for 5-6 vehicles. The parking area leads up to the back entrance of the house via 10-12 external stairs. This listing is not ideal for anyone who needs a true ranch style house or has elderly guests who struggle with stairs. The front of the house has an easier entrance but there is not parking on the street.

The only problem is the steps for me (68) and my 3 legged dog. They were hard for her and I. Other than that it was fine! Great location!

Check in was a breeze. Derek’s place was perfect for our holiday visit for the Christmas Holiday. If you have fur babies this is the place for you when visiting Roswell area

Great stay with lots of space!

We had a great stay at Derek's home! With 4 spacious bedrooms and lots of beds, there was plenty of room for everyone to be cozy and have their own space. We stayed for a family Christmas, and we enjoyed hosting it here! We would highly recommend this VRBO home to anyone that's looking for a place to stay in Roswell!

Perfect place for a large group

This house was the perfect place for a large group of cousins gathering for an engagement party in Roswell. There were beds for everyone, and the living room was a good space to spend time together. We highly recommend.

Short stay in Roswell

We needed a pet friendly place to stay while we were waiting to move in to our new home. This place worked out great for us. The best part was the location. We were able to walk to eat in downtown Roswell each day. Derek, the host is great with communication.

An amazing gem!

This quiet neighborhood and spacious house was a perfect little getaway to spend a few days in the Atlanta area. It was walking distance to downtown Roswell, which is quaint and full of restaurants and shops. It’s a delightful place to stay and explore the area. The house was well appointed, it had a great coffee bar to start the day outright. The beds were very comfortable. I look forward to booking again on my way back through Atlanta.

The pictures do not match the appearance of the house, it’s much more run down looking. The area around it isn’t much to look at either. There were mouse droppings in the kitchen all over the floor and in drawers and under the dishwasher. Also ants all over the kitchen counters. The AC struggled to cool the house down. Otherwise it was fine, just a bit disappointing overall and the location wasn’t as close to downtown Roswell as I’d thought.

Good location but needs a lot of work

The location is great in Roswell. The house was much older and outdated than what was pictured including the front of the home not looking much like it does in photos with landscaping etc. several things in the bathrooms were broken or damaged including shower head falling out of the wall and toilet seat half broken. The kitchen light also fell down during our stay. Beds are comfortable but bedding is cheap feeling. There were a few nails in random spots, my son cut his toe on one. Was fine for our group but know it’s outdated!

Blend of Super Modern and Quirky Old

This home is a much older property that has been updated with some very modern and high-text fixtures (like bidet toilets and electric adjustable standing desks, super large TV, full coffee bar machines, etc). However, it IS an old home, so the floors creek, the kitchen cabinets are a bit rough, there are some older doors/handles that have some quirk. Often the light switches are across the room from the entry doors so a little hunt-and-find. I happen to live about 3 miles from this property but needed a bigger space when hosting four out-of-town teen nephews. Downtown Roswell is such a gem in the suburbs of Atlanta, and has everything from hiking to cafes to upscale restaurants, art galleries, ice cream parlors, etc. I may be biased from living here so long, but this home is located in a wonderful part of town. The neighbord itself is a mix of older (some run down) homes and brand new construction. The house is easy access to 400 and Holcomb Bridge (exit 8) with restaurants and grocery stores, Super Walmart and more nearby. The teen boys LOVED the oversized bunk beds, outdoor space (for tossing a football or a frisbee), and had room to laze on the couches. I brought over a bin of games and sports equipment from my home - it would be great if this rental had a supply of both for use. There is plenty of storage in the bedrooms and the kitchen. The bathrooms are small, and when sharing with multiple people, I suggest some travel toiletry bins to keep things tidy.

This rental was fantastic! It was perfect for my family- had tons of room! Very clean and well stocked. Super pet friendly! The neighborhood was great - tons of restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking in the Roswell area!

Great location - easily accessible

The house is an older home but was very comfortable. The WiFi access was a huge selling point and we were able to stay on top of messages and work obligations while visiting. The number of beds and the amount of space were wonderful for our family. The proximity to town was very helpful and we were able to enjoy multiple local restaurants during our stay. The host was very responsive and checked in, offered suggestions and answered all of the questions we presented. If you’re a perfectionist, I would suggest looking elsewhere but if you are looking for comfort, location and space - this home is a great choice!
