Park Setting with Pool! Old Town Scottsdale, ASU, PHX, Papago Park, Zoo, DBG

We do enjoy making our guests stay a special experience. Whether that's making sure the place is immaculately clean, providing holiday decorations, a birthday/graduation gift, or supporting a guest during their Ironman competition. We enjoy hosting good people and love it when they enjoy our place, our location, and the abundance of activities available!

It's close to everything in the East Valley that you would want to do, and a great home base if you are venturing further to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Many of our guests are return visitors so see for yourself and we'll likely see you for years to come :) Because of its proximity to the park system and the excellent accommodations we lovingly call it Papago Park Place.

Besides being a charming house with all the amenities you would want; the closest house across the street is about 100 yards away. The back patio does not look directly at another house, but instead a natural wash that actually has running water during a winter storm or a summer monsoon. You will often see doves, quail, rabbits, and the occasional coyote (most likely at dusk or dawn). Not to worry, there is a fence! :) The pool is visible from the driveway and about 50 yards away. It's a beautiful salt water pool and it is very likely you will have the pool all to yourself. I think it's way better than a backyard pool since you don't have to deal with pump noise, cleaning, and chemicals - let the pool maintenance crew deal with that. The park system and pond across the street is amazing! The pond is great for fishing (trout, bass, catfish, bluegill, and carp) or bird watching. There are herons, egrets, ducks, hawks, the occasional bald eagle! And keep and eye out for the resident turtles :) Further into the park you have Hunts Tomb and Hole in the Rock, both favorite sunset/sunrise locations. And from these points you'll be looking over the zoo with giraffes and the big horn sheep roaming freely up on the red rock buttes! You'll be a 5-10 minute drive from: Old Town Scottsdale, Downtown Tempe, ASU, Tempe Town Lake, Papago and Rolling Hills golf courses (and more), Desert Botanical Gardens (a must do), airport, 5 grocery stores ... And yes the list could go on! It really is a unique property in a unique location. We love the area and hopefully you will have the chance to enjoy it on your next visit to Phoenix. We manage ONE property - the one you will staying in! We live nearby so if there is something you want we will respond with a smile and in a jiffy!
