Amazing home on the river with spacious living room and kitchen

On the Rocks is one of the best homes on the river. It is large with lots of space so your family doesn't feel cramped. It sleeps 26 and is a five bedroom four bath home with an open concept kitchen and living room. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances with a large bar for gathering. Outside you have a covered porch and a balcony upstairs for great views of the Cypress lined Frio River and hills nearby. You have a great space under the large oak tree for bar-b-queing. For entertainment when not at the river, you have horseshoes and volleyball. The river is just steps away from the house. It has great river frontage perfect for setting up your coolers, chairs and music.

Great house and locaton

House is setup well for large groups, very nice backyard. Good river access, easy walk down to river. Private access was a great spot - very nice to have a reasonably deep pool instead of narrow or shallow rapids.

House was nice. A load of towels were left in the washer. The grass could have been mowed. The neighbors were nice & kept us updated on the flooding, as well as the property manager. The smoke detectors were absolutely annoying. We had a great time. I would recommend this house & I would stay here again.

We are really happy you enjoyed your stay. We can't mow with all the rain so I am sorry about that. We will take the rain any day we can. If the smoke alarms were beeping just reach out. We would have come and installed new batteries. We are always just a call away and will address any issues.

Great place on the river

There was 10 in our group. We were in for dove hunting and hanging out on the river. There was more than enough room for us and the house is very nice. Great to be able to walk down to the river and relax. Only issue with the rental is lack of sheets for the beds and towels. However this seems to be the new normal for houses in Concan. I definitely recommend this house and would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location!! We had 3 families of 4 and property exceeded our expectations. House was fully stocked and housed all of us for 5 days. Rooms are in the corners so you still get some privacy if needed. FFG was extremely responsive on any questions that came up. We will be rebooking next year and the years to come.

We have been going to the Frio for 25years and this is by far the best house. This was our 2nd time renting this house and no need to even look anywhere else. 13 of us stayed and there was ample space for all. See ya next year On the Rocks!!!

Each bedroom is quiet and private and has its own bathroom and shower. The living room and kitchen are open concept which is great for family gatherings. We will definitely rent this home again.
