The Nature Cabin at Bear Bluff Retreat is located on a wooded 20 acres above and overlooking Wright's Bend on Center Hill Lake near Rock Island State Park. The surrounding area is considered the waterfall mecca of Tennessee with more caves, waterfalls and scenic overlooks per square mile than anywhere else in the United States.

This cabin features a nature theme and provides a perfect perch for nature lovers to view birds and beautiful sunsets over the water.

Cabin has everything you need for a fabulous weekend! The kitchen was stocked with essentials...even basic seasonings (wonderful little touch). The fire pit at night was perfect to enjoy a sunset and smokes (kits provided!). State parks nearby that are beautiful hiking ventures. And the VIEW off the back deck at the cabin is superb! It was everything we needed this weekend! We already booked it for next year

The host was very nice and helpful. I have stayed at many vrbo’s through the years and this was the best! Oh and didI mention the view. Breath taking…The kitchen area had everything you needed, to include spices and assortment of bowls, pans toaster everything. The bed and bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The host supplied shampoo, conditioner, body wash.The towels were very nice as well.I would 100% recommend this property.

Best VRBO experience! The location was beautiful. The cabin looks brand new, very clean with many thoughtful provisions like coffee for the first day, a s’mores supply basket, brochures for local points of interest and more! Curt was very responsive to messages especially during our stay. Be sure to go to the waterfalls at Cummins State park!

The views are beautiful and it is close enough to Rock Island for us to spend time with family camping there. We had a wonderful time. Absolutely no issues with the rental. So well stocked with anything we wanted.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! EVERYTHING from the decor to the host communication to the cleanliness to the view...perfection!! I've stayed in many rentals over the years and this is BY FAR the BEST stay! Comfy bed, well stocked kitchen, fit pit with plenty of wood (with a s'mores package for your enjoyment), binoculars for wildlife viewing, and a detailed welcome binder with everything you could neeed! Thank you Curt & Joann!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The view is lovely. It rained our entire full day there so we just hung out on the fold out futon in the living room and watched the streaming channels on the tv. We were happy to have those! Hearing the rain on the cabin roof was very relaxing. It had everything we needed to cook. The bed is on the firm side. They had a couple of firm pillows and a couple of softer ones, which I appreciated. Lots of blankets. You may want to bring camp chairs for outside fire time because the ones outside are just standard plastic chairs. They provided firewood, which is so thoughtful! The owners are on site and very friendly and helpful. They also welcomed our dog, which we really appreciated since boarding is so expensive now and we loved having her with us. After we checked out, we were able to go explore Great Falls, Twin Falls and we made the short drive to Cummins Falls and hiked in the light rain to the overlook. Burgess Falls is also nearby (that is a beautiful falls too but we have been there before). We would stay again!
