The cabin, hot tub and grill are all clean and well maintained. The loft bedroom is fun, with a good view from bed of the lake, through the floor to ceiling windows. It’s a lovely location and we had a nice, relaxing weekend.

We absolutely loved staying here! The cabin was perfect and very comfortable! We loved the area and fully appreciated all the details the cabin had to offer!

We absolutely LOVED everything about our long weekend stay here! The cabin is cozy, well-appointed and the hosts were welcoming. The hot tub and firepit by the lake were perfect! My wife told me that this was her favorite get-away spot that we've ever been to since moving to the PNW. I agree.

Peaceful vacation!

This property was amazing. It was perfectly located for day trips to Pt Defiance and Olympic National Park. The lake by this cabin is beautiful and it is a very quiet community. The cabin had everything needed from amenities to entertainment. Will definitely come again!

Pro: This place has great vibes. The view is wonderful. Having a hot tub overlooking the lake is great. It was very quiet except for some chainsaw action occasionally during the day. The rooms were clean and the bedding was very nice. The Super Nintendo emulator on a big screen was great and so was the sound system. It was easy to find and town is only 15 minutes away if you forgot anything.Con: There is a musty/moldy damp smell that some people in our group were really bothered by, leading to allergy flare ups. The metal trim around the woodstove is falling off, which is a fire hazard. The railing around the deck is loose, which if someone leaned on it enough, they would fall 5ft down. Boards are loose on the deck as well and nail heads are sticking up which can cause injury. There is a coffee grinder but no lid for it. The table on the deck is warped and coming apart from water damage. The stove can't get hot enough to boil water which makes meals challenging. The hot tub was foamy from the start. The peel and stick tiles in the bathroom and bedroom are coming off.We had a great time but it could've been so much better. The place is just kind of neglected.

Location for us was perfect.The cabin was very clean. Has all the basics you need. The loft projector was fun at night.Check in is exactly at 4pm. Not 3:59. The door lock won't open..that was a little confusing.I would return in the summer with my kayak to enjoy the lake.This cabin offers a lot of water toys to play with.If your looking for a cozy little cabin overlooking a lake, you won't be disappointed

Cozy cabin!

Cute and cozy cabin with a woodfire stove and hot tub right outside the door. We stayed here for 3 nights in the winter and loved the coziness (but still spacious) cabin with large windows facing the lake. The upstairs loft is very roomy with a projector to watch movies. Host responded quickly to questions and was responsive to some minor feedback. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors a bit more.

Excellent Rental

This property has everything you could want. Owners have meticulously maintained the home and thought of everything. The house has a surround sound where we played music constantly. The projector upstairs made for the best movie nights. Jacuzzi was clean and always warm. And we had the best time using the paddle boat to go out and fish in the lake. Not to mention the views! The relaxing quiet lake was exactly what we needed. Highly recommend

Honest Review

The inside of the cabin was nice and as expected. Outside needs work. Paddle boat was broken and did not work. Chairs by fire are broken, my boyfriend fell over backwards while sitting at fire pit. Lake front is very muddy, slippery and dangerous. Cabin next to pathway into woods. Woke up one morning to a man, clearly on drugs on the property..our dog chased him away. Grill propane tank was empty and we filled it up. I dont think the price of rental met overall quality.

Hi Tricia, We are disappointed by your insincere review, after in fact you broke trespassing laws, your dog annoyed multiple neighbors, and neighbors complained about you trespassing on our yard. Your behavior cost $300 in HOA fees. VRBO suggested we cancel your stay early based on your behavior and breaking local laws, but we wanted to be good hosts and allow you to stay. We don't feel that a retaliatory review is appropriate and will be working with VRBO to remove your review and remove you off the platform.

Loved this A-frame!!! Perfectly appointed amenities too. Lake was clean and the perfect temperature. Only slight shrug was that I was hoping for a few days in the sun but had to take a chair over to the adjacent public dock or jump on a floatie to get to the sun as this property is fully shaded all day in August. Only other item of note was a personal preference of a microwave over a mini-dishwasher (it was cute though). I would definitely re-book, most likely in a season where I'm not craving sunshine.
