SHASTA LAKESHORE RETREAT #9. This home is one of the 19 fine lake homes part of the Shasta Lakeshore Retreat collection supporting up to 235 guests.
Retreat #9 is cozy beautiful home with natural wood and ceilings. Warm, clean retreat with great views of the lake and mountains. Lots of windows, open and rich wood flooring. The large deck looks out at the lake. The property is only about 100 feet from the lake when the lake is full.
The deck includes a gas BBQ, heat lamp, gas fire pit and lots of sitting to enjoy the lake. The home features a open kitchen and common area that looks out at the lake on two sides. The deck wraps around two sides of the house for great views. Please note that this home does require the use of stairs to get to the living area.
Retreat 9 has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The home has great views. It is just set back a little with a trail down to the water for your use.
If you have a larger party, Retreat 4 and Retreat 8 are directly next door with Retreat 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 and 17 are very close. Nine of the ten homes on this street are Shasta Lakeshore Retreat Vacation Rentals able to lodge over 100 guests.
This home has air conditioning and heating. There is good Truck/Boat/Car/ATV Parking on good sized driveway and area in front of the home. No Rv'S or Campers.
- Sugarloaf Boat County Boat Ramp is close by. The marina location and moorage availability is dependent on lake level.
- Shoreline anchor also available. Use caution.
- Majority of boaters choose Shasta as their favorite Lake in California! Warm water during summer, many fingers to ski/board with calm water, massive dam, fishing everywhere, and multiple marinas to fuel the boat. Over 365 miles of shoreline to explore. Most shoreline in California.
- Plenty of relaxing time to view wildlife from the deck while you have a cup of coffee in the morning or favorite drinks in the evening.
- Multiple forest service country roads for ATV's and hiking to explore close by. Bring your ATVs!

The lake may or may not fill up any given year but we will keep guests updated and offer a full refund up to 60 days before arrival if any guest has concerns on water level. If the lake drops below 140' down, this starts to impact the availability of the local boat ramp and marina requiring travel to another part of the lake. Again, see our website for the latest info and photos of lake at different levels. Forest Fires are also common in Northern California which may blow smoke in the area during the summer and fall. Guest with health concerns or worry about air quality should avoid visiting Northern California during the peak summer seasons. Check our website for current conditions and weather alerts.

With over two decades of cherished family memories at Shasta Lake, we, David and Lori, came to regard Shasta Lake as the highlight of our summers. It's a place where families can bond, and where the range of activities appeals to every age group, making it the perfect spot for a family getaway.
Our love for Shasta Lake runs deep, leading us to make a life-changing decision in 2015 when we purchased our first lakefront home, known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #1. The incredible experiences we had here were simply too good not to share and we knew our houseboat days were over after staying in this home.
A year later, we acquired the property next door, now known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #2, bolstered by the popularity of our first home, which had become a year-round favorite.
In 2019, our two grown sons also fell in love with this wonderful place, prompting them to buy a home on the same charming street, christened as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #3. They entrusted us with its management, a responsibility we take to heart. All three homes required significant investment and remodeling as they had been neglected for years.
After many requests from dear friends and neighbors, in 2021 we started managing other properties, which further enriched our collection. Although we only own two of them, today, we proudly represent 19 remarkable homes, each carefully selected for its unique charm, quality, and comfort. We firmly believe that an extraordinary home is the foundation of an unforgettable getaway, and we want nothing less than perfection for our valued guests.
Our journey doesn't end here; it's an ongoing adventure inspired by our passion for Shasta & the surrounding areas. We are committed to carefully expanding our offerings, reviewing additional unique homes to provide more options for all the wonderful families that come to visit this recreational area year after year providing them a much needed lodging option.

Location, Location, Location. Homes that are close to the water with lakefront or lakeview locations and on private land are extremely rare on Shasta Lake. This home is located on the best street (Daisy Lane) in the highly desired Sugarloaf area of Lakehead off the Sacramento Arm of the Lake. Great views of the lake, mountains and wildlife with a short walk to the lake, marina and boat ramp (depending on lake level). You will love this home.
