Casa Coquina is a charming historic-register cottage built in 1954, where you'll find authentic, offbeat, laid-back 'Old Florida' character. And you are so close to everything! Just five minutes to Nokomis Beach/Casey Key, historic downtown Venice, and the Legacy Bike Trail. Modern essentials, like central heat/ac, full kitchen, WiFi, ROKU TV, an outdoor deck–even a Seminole Tiki Hut. And there's so much more in terms of details and amenities that will make your Florida vacation truly unique.
The space
EXTERIOR
• The living space is on the second floor. There are wide stairs with a landing leading to the front door
• Off street parking for 2 cars, and the walkway/stairs are well-lit
• Balcony deck at the back of the house with table/chairs and stairs to the yard
• Mood lighting with dimmer on the deck
• 15’ x 10’ Tiki Hut, built by the Seminole Tribe, with bar and table
• Peaceful yard with views of adjacent tropical gardens
• Gas grill

MAIN BEDROOM AND BATH
• Large bedroom with en-suite bathroom
• King sized Dreamcloud Premier hybrid mattress

ACCESS TO ALMOST EVERYTHING
• Full access to the upstairs living space, decks, tiki hut and back yard.

• Full access to the downstairs laundry room at any hour. (NOTE: The laundry is a shared space with our other guests who are limited to using it from 9-5 p.m. only)
• No access to the garage interior or the downstairs storage room

Your enjoyment is my primary concern. Here are some things I think you'll want to know.

• SHEETS AND TOWELS: Unlike other rentals in different parts of the country, we supply sheets and towels for your stay. Ours are 100% cotton.

• STARTER AMENITY PACK: I include three rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a package of coffee filters, a package of napkins, a box of tissue in each bedroom.
