This home is located in a subdivision near a dead end. So there is little traffic, with no through traffic in front of the home.

Also- conveniently located to:

Grocery stores, shopping centers, and entertainment - like movie theaters, mini golf, and bowling - are all within a 7-15 minute drive.

Major attractions like SeaWorld and Six Flags are within a 20-minute drive. (There is a back way to SeaWorld, and you don't even have to get on the highway)

Peaceful location

Very quiet and peaceful location. Home is very spacious for the whole family. Is very close to stores and restaurants. I definitely recommend this home and location if you’re on a trip with your family.

Great place to relax with family

Was about 20 minutes away from Lackland AFB. Was a Great place to relax with our son and family after BMT graduation. So Much more room than a hotel.

Great place for price!

Approximately 20 minutes away from Lackland Air Force Base. Perfect place to stay if you have an airman graduating. Good communication from the property owner.

Summer Vacation

We loved our stay at this house. The house was very clean. The neighborhood is very quiet. The beds were great! It had everything we needed for our stay. The back porch was very nice to sit and relax. The host was extremely nice and helpful and very quick to respond. We will definitely stay here again on the future.

Beautiful home, quiet neighborhood

The house was splendid for a larger family. Games, kitchenware, comfortable beds…the list goes on. Very reasonable pricing, plus quick responses from the owner. Close to Six Flags and 10 mins from Sea World, made a weekend trip stress free.

Awesome host.

Host was quick to answer any and all questions, was super fast on getting us the info for check in, had everything set up and ready, prior to arrival. House was clean, stocked, ready for us. Neighborhood was quiet, no problems at all. Will recomend this host to everyone.

Lots of space

My family of 7 stayed here for 2 nights. We had plenty of room. The dining room could seat us all. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. Cleaning supplies were available and laundry in the garage, though no basket. Outside had a seating area and decent sized yard, fence in bad shape. Vacant/fenced lot next door, so felt very private.

Thankyou for the review. I apologize for the laundry basket not being there and available. My housekeeper took it with her to do laundry. The fence was actually worked on this past weekend. The lot nextdoor( they have cows and bulls) and alot of trees against my property line, it tends to put alot of weight and problems on my fence. I appreciate the honest feedback, and so happy the home had plenty of space for you all. 😊

Overall rating

I wanted to say that the house was calming and relaxing , but the shower curtains were dirty and I prefer to change them.Also the tub was kind of dirty too.When you have time you can fix your fence.Don’t feel bad i am just telling some problems but everything was good.and thank you for letting us stay in your house.

I will reach out to housekeeping and let them know. The day you checked out the fence was repaired. The weight of the gate causes the base of the fence to sink in and hang.

Mixed feelings

We enjoyed the location of the proper and proximity to Sea World. It's in a quiet neighborhood. It is an older property which has been refreshed. Angela communicated well with us during the stay. We had several issues with the property which dampened the experience. The toilet plugged on the second day which rendered it unusable. The bathroom was rendered unusuable for the rest of the day. I attempted to plunge the bathroom with the available plunger to no avail. It was a holiday weekend so no help was available and ultimately we were charged $40 after the stay to unplug to toilet. We were locked out of the property twice which was ultimately rectified by calling Angela and her resetting the code. We were charged $15 for breaking a toilet paper dispenser in the master bedroom, which definitely was not broken when we left. Angela's cleaners stated it was broken when they came to fix the toilet issue. Overall the property was spacious and nicely kept and we enjoyed it, minus the experiences notes above.

Thankyou for staying, especially during the holiday. You also had great communication. I did apologize for the two issues you had during the stay. When you ran out of paper towels from using them to dry dishes, I had my housekeeper come and bring you more. Being it was a holiday weekend, there was a hard time to get a plumber to come to the home to take care of the toilet. Which after speaking with you/your wife. You admitted you could have possibly plugged it. As far as the key code, there must have been some issue with the wrong code entered, as I left the code valid for an additional day and I had housekeeping come and use the code several times. Which it worked completely fine. I also did credit you 10% of your stay due to the toilet issue and the door issue even prior to having a plumber/ housekeeping coming over to inspect the home after you left. After they inspected, is where I did have to charge according for a damaged toilet paper holder completely removed from the wall, as well as the toilet repair. In the end, you weren't out any extra money due to the discount/charges, they ended up being a wash. I did apologize several times for those issues, especially after I was staying in the home for an entire week, leaving the morning you arrived, with no issues with anything in the home. Guests also left the home very clean.
