Family stay in Philly
We stayed here with our 18 year old daughter and my parents who are 65. The neighborhood seems a littleRun down but after walking around for a few days I never felt uncomfortable. It is a pretty close walk toChina town and a decent walk to Reading terminalMarket. Parking was street parking and we did have to park one car about a block down the road, but the other car was right in front. The apartment was nice and looked just like the pictures, plenty of space for the 5 of us, you do have to be comfortable with stairs to get to any of the bedrooms. Beds were soft and comfortable, bedding was great. My onlyComplaint would be the noise, you could hear the upstairs neighbors at night and in the am, I got woken up every morning around 6:00/6:30 by construction noise, people talking outside the window (from the car business), and the neighbors walking around (it sounded like a heard of elephants!). There really is nothing the owner can do about that⊠but my parents who were in the other upstairs bedroom said they were fine with their noise machine on they didnât hear anything. Also, the temp differs greatly between the floors, the basement would be chilly, the main would be comfortable, and the top floor would be a bit warm⊠common for these types of set ups but good for people to know.
