Galloway Cottage- Bikes and fire pit

Keeping it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located hidden gem cottage. As our guests you will experience a quiet get-away with full amenities and adventure just steps away. Equipped with a full kitchen, Wi-Fi, washer & dryer, queen bed upstairs, and fold-out couch downstairs. Enjoy a book under the covered front porch, play a game of corn hole, relax in the hammock, or hop on one of the bicycles provided with rental to explore miles of Greenway trails or just enjoy a evening by the firepit. Pet friendly and perfect for walks and enjoying the Ozarks with many trails nearby.
Open floor plan downstairs includes the living room, kitchen, and private bathroom. a comfortable bar for dining, TV and large futon for seating or additional sleeping area. Beamed ceiling on the ground floor is only 6 foot 3 inches tall, so tall people be aware.

Fully equipped kitchen includes stove, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and other items.

Private upstairs bedroom includes queen size bed, dresser, large closet. Additional seating and separate workspace.

Bathroom has vanity with a large mirror and walk-in shower.
Guest access
Guests have whole house access to all amenities including games, bikes, and a comfortable hammock.
Other things to note
Neighborhood is safe and quiet. Within walking and biking distance to many restaurants including Galloway Station, The Rock, and Andy's Frozen Custard.

Even before we arrived the host(s) were very welcoming and inviting. We had a last minute special request and they accommodated. Upon arrival the space for the cottage was hidden and cozy. When we walked into the cottage it was instant cute, cozy, clean and inviting. The host had complimentary snacks, a chilled glass in the freezer for tasty beverages and ICE, which is huge for me because I love my water but cannot drink it w/o ice. So that was a big winner. Awesome space upstairs and downstairs. It was centrally located so it was perfect AND secluded. Great space for my doggos inside and outside. The host was in touch making sure everything was good. I will definitely stay again as I didn’t get the luxury of booking and sitting at the fire pit.

This cozy cottage was exactly what I needed for my short stay in Springfield. The cottage is quite spacious, comfortable, and quiet. It was fairly rainy during my stay so I didn't get to use the bikes or fire pit, but it was nice to have them available! I highly recommend this place.

We just wanted to get away for a couple days. What a find! Cute little getaway cabin. Close to all the attractions Springfield has to offer. If you want to relax outside
perfect little covered porch. Want to stay indoors
high speed internet, 2 smart tvs. What more could you ask for? And priced about the same as a hotel. For us it’s a no brainer.

Travelled to MO to fish Table Rock and visit Bass Pro. This property was quaint and a perfect location with its proximity to HWY 65. I enjoyed the hammock and outdoor seating immensely.

The Galloway cottage was perfect for our needs. It is small and the ceiling is definitely low, but it is conveniently located and a great value. The cottage was clean and efficient, and the hosts were helpful and available!

Perfect spot to get away

We wanted to get away for a couple of days and still have some space and freedom. This location was far enough from the city to feel like it was on the edge of the country, but still close enough to get anywhere in Springfield without too much hassle. The hammock was great, and everything was nice. This is not a 5 star luxury hotel, but it is very nice and I would go back.

 lots of bugs inside and out! Lawn overgrown and could not take advantage of the fire pit. Cottage was dusty and a rancid smell to it. My husband coughed all night from the amount of dust in the air from the air units

A quaint old-fashioned pretty cottage with every modern convenience. And we were surprised to find ourselves in a secluded lot on the edge of the woods, not far from walking trails. We expect to stay there again next time we are in the Springfield area.

We love your little cottage. The location was perfect-easy walking distance to a couple of good restaurants and easy drive to freeways. The upstairs bed was very comfortable. The sofa couch adequate. We enjoyed the covered front patio and the birds.

We married out of high school in 1988, raised 2 beautiful daughters that have blessed our family with 2 son in laws and 2 beautiful grandchildren. Johnny retired from a long career with Springfield City Utilities and now has a successful career in real estate. Robyn spent an amazing 25 year career as RN, in School Nursing. Now we love sharing our experiences, stories and our Air BNB’s with families so they can make memories too.

The property is unique little cottage that is nestled in a very safe neighborhood, we allow families to bring their fur babies, it’s located within a five minute drive of any thing you would need to make your stay memorable. Bonus, it has a cottage in the Woods atmosphere and our guest love seeing the wildlife that happen by for a visit too.
