The living room leads out onto a large deck with comfortable sectional sofa seating, a gas grill and there is a hot tub under cover for use at any time. You will be situated across the road from a golf course and within a very short walking distance through beautifully landscaped grounds to club options of cross country ski/hiking trails, tennis courts, a private beach, a marina and dining with lake views. The Main Street of Lake Placid with several venues, theater, public beach, several eateries, breweries, Olympic sites and much more is ony a few minutes drive away. The famed Whiteface Mountain Ski Center sits only about a 15 minute drive away through the scenic Wilmington Notch awaiting skiers and snowboarders! Shallow Brook Lodge within the Whiteface Club & Resort offers a Maximum of 3 parking spaces for guest use. The Town of North Elba, Village of Lake Placid has adopted new Short-Term Vacation Rental Regulations that include rental parking limitations for the maximum number of motor vehicles allowed on property. Parking is NOT permitted on any part of the lawn or on any part of a sidewalk and like other communities the ordinance asks that you obey all regulations when parking in public.
