We had a fantastic stay at Bolton Landing Mountain House! The home was spacious, comfortable, and a perfect fit for our group. With four bedrooms and plenty of room to spread out, it felt welcoming and easy to enjoy together without ever feeling crowded.The mountain-chalet character really made the stay special—the beautiful wooden beams, peaceful wooded setting, three-season porch, and large deck created such a relaxing Adirondack, cabin lifestyle atmosphere. We especially enjoyed having outdoor space to sit back, take in the mountain views, and gather around the fire pit in the evening.The location was ideal as well: close enough to enjoy everything Bolton Landing has to offer, including the beaches, boat rentals, restaurants while still feeling private and quiet. The game room in basement was a huge hit with our group. Having amenities such as air conditioning, Wi‑Fi, linens and towels, washer/dryer, and a pet-friendly setup made the trip even more convenient.Overall, this was a lovely, well-located home for a family or group getaway in the Lake George area. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable Adirondack retreat.

Perfect for our group!

This home was an ideal space for our group! The games and firepit were a hit; very little time spent using technology is always a win! The space was cozy and welcoming, we'd love to visit again.

There was plenty of room, units available if needed a/c - but we didn't need it. Pet friendly, our critter loved it as much as we did! The house has a lot of character and interesting features!

Overall, our stay was perfect!We went for the car show with a family of 10 and it was perfect for this however this house and property needs a lot of work The stairs are kind of tricky and there was a lot of problems with showers.

What a perfect house and location for our weekend away! So much space., so many sitting areas., cool upstairs. Kitchen and house outfitted with everything you could need and the owners are amazingly responsive.

We stayed two nights at this property with two other couples. Location to Bolton landing was happily as described. We enjoyed two delightful days on Lake George with our dear friends. Kitchen and bathrooms of this property relatively clean. Bedrooms dusty without functional air conditioning on the humid evenings making sleeping in two of the three upstairs bedrooms feel stuffy and uncomfortable. Although no one in our group had pets, a strong urine (animal) smell was noted in the upstairs loft area in front of primary suite was evident.

The house was not in good state of cleanliness. There were a lot of bugs cobwebs millipedes most, especially in the covered porch bathrooms. There were not enough towels no sheets for the sleeper sofa and no coffee filters were provided. Basic toiletries like soap were not included in all bathrooms. For some of the VRBO properties at least soap was provided. The garage was absolutely not usable and was completely in disarray. Overall, I do not think that the house is properly maintained to be a VRBO listing. there was also mice in the house.

Disappointed

The view was pretty. Large unique spacious home. In one bedroom the heat was not working when the host was contacted they said they were aware, ibut they did not share that with us. Some issues with appliances and standing water in shower drain. The walkway was not properly shoveled making it challenging and a safety concern to bring in luggage. Some written directions would have been helpful to know what to do with disposal of garbage and how to work the many TVs etc. Requested a partial refund but was ignored.

The house was perfect for our stay. The BBQ and firepit were the biggest reasons we booked it as well as the many communal rooms, especially the game room, that gve our guests plenty of places to hangout. The house is very unique (in the best possible sense), if anything the description is modest for what it offers. Great location too for easy access to Bolton Landing Village and Lake George.
