The Creek House on Meadow Run boasts 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom accommodations with large open concept kitchen to living room. Recline, kick back and relax from your busy family life and enjoy some time by the wood burner in winter and watch the trout jump on Meadow Run in the spring through the large picture window! Kids will love the 3 season's room that converts to a sleeping area with the double pull out sofas. This home is truly beautiful family escape with the back patio, fire pit and huge lawn this is a place to make some family memories. Don't forget to bring your waders and fishing rod as this stretch of the stream is well stocked or just play in the water on a hot day. Minutes from Fort Necessity, Ohiopyle State Park, downtown Ohiopyle and Yough Lake--so much to see and do in the area you'll be planning your next trip before you leave! Not that you have to have it, when you come to the mountain but the cabin comes equipped with Large Smart TV in the living room and EXCEPTIONAL Wifi/Internet speed! This home sits at 2000 feet elevation. From November 1st to March 31st AWD/4WD is highly recommended to get to the property and enjoy the area safely!

This was a nice house and the location was great. We even got rain the one night, so the stream was running fast in the morning.

A great time by the fire pit and throwing rocks in the creek. Please note you will need salt and pepper as the kitchen is incredibly bare bones.

Very nice

Very cute home. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and we enjoyes the decor. The living room furniture was so comfy and the kitchen, dining, living space was very open with lots of seating. We loved the outdoor space, sitting creekside & we enjoyed the fire pit. This home was also private yet easily accessible from the main road.

Great property! Clean with plenty of room inside and outside. Having the creek right there next to the fire pit was awesome! Would definitely recommend staying here!Only gave 4 stars because the propane grill barely had any propane left and no spare tank. Only managed to get a few sausages cooked...had to cook our steaks inside on the stove. Also, one of the grill burners didn't work.

Awesome

A great place to stay with family along a nice fishing creek. Caught many trout. Property is very large, mowed, with plenty of shade trees. We visited the cavern, Ohioplye state park, winery, and a few restaurants. The evenings are quiet and relaxing by the firepit. This place is bigger than the pictures represent. Will recommend this place and hope to visit in the fall.

The stream was magnificent after all the rainfall! The sound of water was very soothing. Unfortunately, i lost power at around 5 pm on Friday and it was not returned till the following morning. I contacted the property manager and let him know

Great place

The house was roomy, well laid out and accessible for use with a walker. There is a nice handicap accessible walk in shower. Plenty of comfortable seating. Convenient locatuin. The view of the river was very nice. Our only complaint is the 2 beds in the 3 season room are not useable in colder nights, a small heater would be great in the cooler months

Beautiful, spacious house close to Ohiopyle state park and Falling Water

Perfect place to spend my 50th birthday! Arrived to a immaculately clean house that was so much bigger than we realized it would be. Well maintained outdoor area with firepit and stream access. Easy "check-in" with door code. Excellent communications with property management. We will ABSOLUTELY stay here again.

Fantastic rental

The property was fantastic! The back yard was our favorite part. House was clean and spacious, plenty of storage and very comfortable. Lots to see in the area. Would stay again if we ever go back to the area! Only one negative but not impactful on our love of the property. The tile floor that the wood stove is located on, had a pretty large differential from wood to tile. 3 of the 5 of us tripped and it was pretty painful to hit a toe on that tile. It seems as if it should have been more of a pronounced step up. Other than that, 5 stars!!

Good house for a weekend

The Yough house is a cute property nestled in its own space, but close enough to the community if you need to grab some eggs or firewood. It was spacious for my family of 4 (mom, dad, daughter-7, and son-5) and we enjoyed our time. This was our 3rd year ending our summer in Ohiopyle, visiting the parks, hiking, relaxing, etc. We love to cook and appreciated the double stove for our meals. My kids really enjoyed baths in the jacuzzi tub, corn toss and the huge lego board box. The beds and couches are comfy. The house gets great light from all the windows throughout. The yard is a great size. We played frisbee, soccer, had a picnic, and enjoyed the fire pit.

An extremely clean and comfortable place to stay while adventuring in Ohiopyle

This property was extremely clean and was well stocked with kitchen supplies, and linens. We felt very comfortable being there. A home away from home. Being by the creek was absolutely wonderful and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this property and would love to come back sometime. The only thing that could have made it better would have been window coverings in the room that has the 2 pull out couches. We bought some 1.00 plastic table cloths at the dollar general and put them over the windows for privacy, so it was no big deal. Also, If you are use to city water the water has an odor, but we just used our bottled water, so it was no big deal. There was a Lg Dollar general about 1 mile away which had grocery items. There was also an awesome coffee shop right there too. wildlife - There were deer out in the yard almost every morning and evening. We also saw a couple cute chipmunks, a frog, and a cardinal couple. Out of 6 people and 5 different data plans, nobody had service at the house. But the free wifi inside the house was very good. Over all this isa great place to stay. The owner was very nice and I appreciated his communication with me.

Perfect Family Getaway

The rental is clean and everything worked inside! The kitchen was perfect for cooking up family meals and the outdoor grill and firepit were much appreciated. The best part for the kids..... the creek!!! They found salamanders and a newt... which were released after examination. They explored in the creek for a few hours. The two TV's were also a bonus for the kids. The weather was on the warm side for our trip so the AC was a wonderful relief. There were so many activities in a 5 -10 mile radius of the rental. It is in a perfect location for adventuring to nearby attractions. My grandkids asked me to buy the rental! Lol.

Nice Quiet Getaway

We had a great long weekened exploring Ohiopyle! The location was the perfect distance from wineries, whitewater rafting, hiking, and food. The place was clean and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Hope to visit again soon!
