Beautiful lot with nice view of Lake Superior. Great screen porch. Small but efficient kitchen. All bedrooms have comfortable beds and great bedding. The house was well stocked. We definitely would rent here again when we return to Bayfield.

What a beautiful property on Lake Superior! We loved spending time in the screened-in porch looking at all the beauty. The home had everything we needed, and was excellently appointed. The owners answered all our questions and gave helpful recommendations. We had a wonderful week in the Bayfield area: kayaking the sea caves with Lost Creek Adventures, hiking the Frog Bay Trail & seeing waterfalls at Amnicon Falls State Park, exploring the cute towns of Bayfield & Cornucopia, enjoyed the Grand Tour with Apostle Island Cruises, took the ferry to Madeline Island and enjoyed being at this beautiful house. We can't wait to come back!! Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us.

Over the past 15 years, we've booked this property for long weekends in either the summer, fall or winter. Owners have come and gone - but the memories that we have of this wonderful cabin will remain with us forever.Beautiful, secluded location. Well-appointed amenities. Mini Bayfield vacay

We went to the Bayfield area for the Apple Fest the first weekend in October. There were six of us; three sisters and their three sisters-in-law. We didn’t want a hotel so I checked on VRBOs in the area. I found Brickyard Lakeside Retreat and it was perfect. There was plenty of beds for us and a large screened in porch facing Lake Superior. It was clean and neat. We had a wonderful time and I recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable place to stay close to Bayfield and Madeline Island. Thanks Ashley! Linda

We loved this cabin! There was wonderful space and the screened in porch was great for evening sitting out and listening to the water, bug free!! This was a great location… close to town but secluded enough to be a nice private retreat! Would highly recommend :)

My family and I live in the Bayfield area and we manage 3 rustic glamping rentals on our organic micro farm Twisting Twig Gardens and Orchard. My husband Rob manages the farm and sells produce through the Bayfield Foods Cooperative. I spend my time working as an RN, wrangling my 2 high energy boys, and helping with the farm and rentals as time allows. We love hosting folks and sharing the beauty that Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands has to offer.
