Welcome to Muriel’s House! Located just one mile from downtown Manistee and less than 2 miles from First St. Beach! Enjoy all that Manistee has to offer. Beautiful Lake Michigan beaches with piers and lighthouses, hiking trails, prime fishing spots, award winning golf courses, great dining, shopping and Little River Casino, as well as many more attractions are all within minutes from you!

This house has been completely renovated with all of your modern needs including keyless entry, smart TV’s throughout with Hulu provided, USB ports in table lamps, ceiling fans in bedrooms and a/c on main level and window a/c units in bedrooms.
The beautiful kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, stone countertops, white shaker cabinets and is completely stocked with everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal, including an air fryer, Keurig Duo, toaster, blender, crockpot, rice cooker, electric skillet, waffle maker and hand mixer. Also provided are dishes, glassware, pots and pans, baking sheets and all of the kitchen utensils you will need.

The main level is an open concept with a dining table to accommodate six, and a warm and inviting living room with a leather sofa and love seat and 65” smart TV to enjoy your favorite shows. Off the living room sits a quaint four seasons porch where you can relax in the rocking chairs and enjoy the breathtaking Lake Michigan sunsets.

There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor, each with a queen bed, ceiling fan, window a/c units and smart TV. The updated bathroom has a tub/shower combo. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided as well as a hair dryer, makeup mirror and plenty of storage.

Upstairs you will find a game room complete with a variety of family board games, 10 in 1 game table, smart TV and an Xbox.
The upstairs room has a queen size convertible couch. You will also find a cozy office space for your
work from home needs.

In the lower level you will find numerous arcades, ping pong and pool table. As well as the washer and dryer.

Finally, step outside and enjoy the large outdoor space, complete with a hot tub, outdoor tv, double hammocks, patio area with a grill and fire pit, and yard games including volleyball, ladder ball, corn hole, axe throwing, fowling, tether ball and a disc golf basket! *Yard Games and TV are available from May 1-October 31.

The long driveway is also able to accommopdate several cars. You can even park your fishing boat or trailer!

Great rental with TONS to entertain you!

My family and I stayed here for a beach vacation. The house was great with plenty of space and everything you could think of to entertain a family (outdoor games, indoor games, hot tub). Plus it was an easy drive to two great beaches (1st street and 5th Street beaches) with easy parking.

Great place to stay

Close to downtown Manistee, plenty of space and privacy! Manistee is a great town to spend some time away and recharge, and Muriel's house is the perfect place to do that!Space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. Will come again!

We loved staying at this house! We were surprised with an early check in time and a tray full of goodies. There is so much detail and thoughtfulness that went in to this rental. We loved all of the games, and the beach stuff was so nice to have during our stay. Communication was excellent and the house was perfectly clean. The town of Manistee was very enjoyable as well. Amazing home!

Wonderful home. It has plenty of dishes and everything you need in the kitchen. Keurig coffee maker. Plenty of inside and outside games. Hot tub was pristine! Grilled out one night and everything was perfect. Stayed here with my older parents, husband and kids.

Comfy and Relaxing

The property was very clean and organized. Using the hot tub was straightforward and the tub was clean and well maintained. The house was nicely finished and well equipped for my stay. The Pac-Man game in the basement was fun! The bed was very comfortable and helped me sleep well while there!

Beautiful home

My wife and I took a trip through Michigan. We drove m22 all the way from Manistee to traverse City and stopped at all of the places. Thanks to the the beautiful home you had, we had a great trip and starting to make my wife see that Michigan really is the promised land!

Good property for familys

Not great for couples tho especially if your partner is over 6 foot lol. There is no master bedroom and only one bathroom with a tiny toilet and the whole house is set up for shorter people there is also no privacy for the hot tub and no place for you to get ready to go out. It was a nice place just not comfortable and the beds were all terrible for our backspeople

Wonderful!

Muriel’s place makes you feel like you are welcome in her home! It was spotless, organized,and very comfortable. When we had an issue with the hot tub, the owner responded within five minutes of us contacting him. He checked in on later to make sure the problem was resolved and also a few days later. We highly recommend this property! Coming back next year.

Perfect getaway

Troy and Andrea were wonderful hosts! They were super responsive with any questions we had and very flexible! The extras for the kiddos and snacks were a special touch and we felt very welcomed. The house had everything we could possibly need and a variety of activities for kids of all ages. Everything was pristine and super comfortable. The early check in and later check out times made all the difference when traveling with kids and we never felt rushed. All of the activities/games/toys/toiletries allowed us to pack lightly and focus on our time together. It’s close enough to walk downtown to the river and shops/restaurantsy and we even passed a little park on the way. Overall, we had an amazing time and hope to stay here again sometime!

Beyond expectations

I have never been to the part of Michigan but it was so quaint and fun! We came up on July 4th. There was so much to do we didn’t have time for everything. The beaches were amazing. They were so clean and not busy at all. This house is the perfect location for the cute little downtown and the beaches. The house itself was very clean and well stocked. There was so much to do at the house itself. Hot tub, hammocks, games, TVs in every room. We only cooked one meal but the kitchen had everything we needed. Loved this place and I can’t wait to go back! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful place!

Amazing stay and hosts

This was by far the best place I’ve stayed at from the hosts to the house. If I could give it 20 stars I would gladly do that. Troy and Andrea are spectacular and they made our stay the absolute best! They have so many special touches to make this the perfect vacation spot for anyone. Whether it be a group of of friends, a couple or a family, they really have thought of everything. The hot tub was amazing and the beds were comfy, the welcome treats were an added bonus and were enjoyed by all. The house is adorably decorated and super clean. It is even more spacious than it looks on the pictures. The backyard is spectacular and has everything you could possibly need. They have so much to offer and I would highly recommend this place for any of your Manistee getaways. It really was a home away from home. Thank you for allowing my friends and I the opportunity to stay at your place. It was very memorable and special! 😊
