Nestled in the up and coming Brooklyn Arts District of historic downtown Wilmington, NC, the newly renovated Azalea Cottage is perfect for a fun getaway with the whole family. This cute and comfortable two bedroom, two bath cottage has ample living space and on site parking. It is walking distance to a number of bars and restaurants, the Brooklyn Arts Center, Live Oak Bank Pavillion and Wilmington's River Walk. It is also a short drive to area beaches and other attractions.
The space
The newley renovated Azalea Cottage has two bedrooms with queen sized beds and one queen blow up mattress. There are two full bathrooms, one has a shower and the other has a bathtub. There is a laundry room and full kitchen. The living space and kitchen area are open concept, creating a perfect space for families and friend to spend quality time together.
Guest access
There is a gravel driveway to the left of the house that can fit up to three cars and street parking. Guests will receive a unique code for entry into the home. Many bars, restaurants and amenities are walking distance and others are easily drivable.
Other things to note
The TVs have Netflix and Disney available as well as access to login to your other streaming accounts. There are games, toys and books in the buffet under the TV for kids. There is a queen blow up mattress under the bed in the front bedroom for kids and additional guests.

Girls Weekend
I brought my 16 YO daughter and niece to see a concert at Live Oak Bank Pavilion. Walking to and from the venue was easy and felt safe at night. Walking to downtown restaurants and shops was enjoyable and made eating ice cream from Boomalatis less guilty.

Wonderful House
We really enjoyed our stay! We had a seamless checkin/out process and Taylor notified us when the house was ready. The house was lovely…clean and organized. There were plenty of chairs and places to spread out.All the bedrooms had ceiling fans which was a bonus on those hot nights!The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you may need during your stay. The neighborhood was nice and quiet…and the house had enough parking for two cars on the side . The location was really good. Walking distance to the river walk/ downtown area and about 20 minutes to the beach…drive time.

Azalea Cottage Review
This cottage was absolutely darling and lived up to what it said on the internet. It was very clean and had all of the amenities of home. The neighborhood was a mixed bag but everyone was so nice. It was so convenient being within walking distance of the river. Great location for us! We would definitely return! Thanks for creating such an inviting getaway Taylor!

Great place to stay for a short conference in town. Location was convenient to the conference site and associated events and restaurants, but with the added benefits of privacy and quiet.

Great Live Oak Pavilion access
Access to Live Oak was amazing! The only reason we didn’t walk is bc we knew we would have sleepy kids at the late night end of the concert - after a day at the beach. But this location was super convenient and the house is adorable!

Beautiful home with large common space!
We loved our stay here! Perfect for a family with all ages - we appreciated the toddler plates / utensils, step stools, books and toys. The location is quiet and very close to downtown Wilmington. We enjoyed visiting the train museum and breweries & cafes just a few minutes away. Thank you for a wonderful home away from home!

Memorial Day makeup
The house was comfortable and had all basics and then some. Beds were comfortable and the location was within 5-6 minutes from downtown Wilmington. All appliances worked well and the air conditioner was amazing - on point and kept the house at a great good temperature. Couldn’t access the Netflix or Disney + accounts because too many users were logged in. Would liked to have had the local channels for news and weather - overall I would recommend this rental.
