The Space:
The Washington combines luxury and comfort to make your stay in Breckenridge unforgettable. The attention to detail in the room’s design, including the use of reclaimed wood, modern finishes, and curated material elements, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the area. The amenities, including a 40" TV, Nespresso coffee & espresso maker, Topo Designs backpack, yoga mat, Bluetooth speaker, humidifier, and C.O. Bigelow 5-piece bath amenities, provide an extra touch of comfort and convenience. Whether you're traveling solo or with a partner, The Washington is an excellent choice for your next trip to Breckenridge.

All rooms feature a king-size bed with Frette 100% cotton linens, a luxury mattress, and pillows to ensure a good night's rest. The small wet bar includes a mini-fridge, quick kettle, honor bar snacks, beer, wine, batched cocktails, complimentary Nespresso coffee & espresso, and Rishi Tea, making it easy to start your day off right. Slip into the provided plush robe and slippers and settle into the cozy corner chair as you enjoy your morning coffee or tea. The luxurious bathroom features a walk-in tile shower with a heated towel rack and a dual sink vanity, perfect for freshening up after a long day of outdoor activities.

Guest Access:
Guests will have exclusive access to this unit located on the top floor of The Carlin. The unit includes access to a private balcony with Adirondack chairs. The Carlin offers a nightly breakfast pre-order for room delivery, available when confirmed by 9 pm. Ordering instructions will be provided in your room.

Guests will also enjoy access to a wide variety of thoughtfully curated in-room amenities to ensure the most comfortable stay possible, including a curated in-room honor bar. Additional amenities are available on-site for guests, such as a ski storage locker, snowshoes, and exclusive access to reservations at The Carlin Restaurant, Tavern Underground, and our sister restaurant, Aurum Food & Wine, located just a few blocks away.

Your reservation includes parking for one vehicle in the private lot located directly behind The Carlin. You will receive a unique access code and additional instructions to access your accommodation on the day of check-in.

There are ski lockers are located near the guest entrance into the building. Please note that the lockers are shared with other guests on a first to come, first to be served basis.

Or, hop onto the free Main Street Trolley just a few minutes away from your front door and find yourself in the historic downtown area in mere minutes where you can discover local markets, restaurants, one-of-a-kind breweries, museums, and many other entertainment options you won't want to miss. For guests who are interested in outdoor activities, the BreckConnect Gondola is just a short ten-minute walk away, providing easy access to Peaks 7 and 8. And in the summer, visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Blue River Recreation path that runs parallel to the shops and restaurants of Main Street.

The Carlin's unbeatable location ensures that guests can experience all that Breckenridge has to offer with ease, whether they are interested in outdoor activities, cultural experiences, or simply enjoying the town's charm and hospitality.

Getting Around:
The Carlin's central location ensures that everything Breckenridge has to offer is easily accessible without even needing a car. When you prefer not to walk, jump on the Free Main Street Trolley and comfortably explore all of downtown Breckenridge. During the winter months, you can have easy access to the slopes from the BreckConnect Gondola which is located just a ten-minute walk away, taking you up to the bases of Peaks 7 and 8. This area also boasts convenient and FREE public transport to surrounding areas from Breckenridge's Free Ride transit system. This transportation option is a great way to spend a day exploring one of the surrounding charming mountain towns such as FairPlay, Alma, and Blue River. In addition, Uber/Lyft are always available.

Great location, a few missing pieces...
The decor and cleanliness of the room were fabulous! Location was great to shopping, dining, and the gondola! There are a few things that would have made the stay better... Parking-we left to explore the area and when we came back, no parking spot left and we had to wait for a car to leave to park. We were afraid to leave again in the car, so we did not do that again. No elevator access for lugging heavy luggage (or at least we were not informed of the elevator access). Had to carry up 3 flights of very narrow stairs. Regulating room temperature was difficult. Was set to 68 when we arrived, ended up putting it to 73/74 (a cold Jan. spell) but middle of night the room was 78 degrees. We could not get it cooled (set back to 69/70) the entire time we were there (2 nights). Thankfully there was a ceiling fan and another fan to cool off with. Bathroom door does not completely shut and there are no hooks or other places to hang coats and cold weather gear. There is a small/short closet, but not enough space for coats, hats, etc to dry, and especially if you have gear/clothing for snow activities. Code to unlock door to the room randomly would not work. We were able to get ahold of someone to get access to a key in the lockbox.
