Only two room and one full bathroom in nice and quiet neighborhood. Separate from the main part of the house. Private entrance with no shared areas. No living room or kitchen. No wash machine. There is a small yard. Free parking on the right side of driveway. Within 15 minute drive to beach, naval station, wedding venues, Newport, beaches and much more. Great destination for vacation, weddings, golfing, wine tasting, seafood, etc. If you want a tour guide, feel free to contact me!

It met my needs - bed was comfortable, etc. Glad there was a heater as the nights got cold. Whomever lives above this unit woke me up a few times one night with noises around 1:00 am. Areas for improvement - definitely need better outdoor lighting, and the shower door feels very flimsy.

Very clean and neat. The window air conditioner is loud in the bedroom and a fan would be helpful to move air. There isn’t blinds or shade on the bedroom windows so you can’t open the window for air circulation and have some privacy.very quiet residential neighborhood but still close enough to Newport and beaches.

Great cozy rental!

All of us agreed it was definitely one of the better Vrbo stays we have been in. It’s a cozy weekend stay with good air conditioning and amenities. The instructions to enter were clear enough that it was easy to enter and start our stay. The shower was pleasant. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels were provided, which was unanticipated but nice! The fridge and extra closet space was nice and the desks and tv were nice for getting some work done.

This was my first VRBO experience so not much to go on, but when I arrived, one of the 2 window ac units was off, the unit was humid, and I had to kill 3 or 4 horseflies in the bathroom, lucky there was bug spray in the closet. Once the AC kicked in it was a little better. A few more bugs in the kitchen area, the small frig did not really get cold. I had to clean the coffee maker which was very dirty. I unfortunately can't recommend.

Clean & decent; close to all of the tourist attractions

This was a nice, decent stay and this home had most of the basic needs we required. I think it was a bit low budget, and a full kitchen would have been nice. However, the proximity to Newport and the great price to rent it were key. I think the owner could put a little bit more effort into the rental unit (add matching vanity light bulbs, replenish bath gels and lysol spray, etc)….but all in all, it was a great deal. Beds were very comfortable.

Nice place at a reasonable price.

We enjoyed staying here. It's conveniently located close to Newport, very quiet neighborhood. The property is reasonably priced, clean. It has 2 rooms and a bathroom. The entry room has a queen-sized bed and the bedroom as well. It has basic amenities - ACs, TV, small fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker and utencils, cups, paper plates, paper towels. Bathroom has towels, shampoo, shower gel and a hair dryer. We are very satisfied with the property and communication.

Very dated and tired. No top sheet on bed. Not a 2 bedroom-it is a 1 bedroom with a bed instead of a couch in the sitting area. Nice towels. No place to sit other than a desk. Overall just bartaverage at most.

I’m not sure who has been giving this place excellent ratings, but I would think twice before ever renting here. It is described as spacious and comfortable and it is far from either. The guest bedroom consisted of a cheap and uncomfortable futon. There was a bottom sheet on the bed and a mismatched rolled up king top sheet in the closet with one cheap thin blanket as well. Questionable if any of the bedding was even washed. The master bedroom was a bit better, but had no extra blankets. Please note that this rental does NOT have a kitchen or anything close to it. Water for coffee or anything else comes from the bathroom sink and that is where you can wash your dishes as well. The owners were home the entire time during our stay. The first night, a man walked past my window around 10 pm and scared the daylights out of me. I was woken up several times during the night to loud noises on the other side of the wall from where the guest bed was situated. This went on all night and I could even hear the ringer on their phone going off around 6 am! I have never stayed in a rental anywhere close to what this was. The overall aesthetics were very poor. Spackled holes in the wall, cheap uncomfortable furniture, poor inside and outside lighting - an overall poorly maintained property. The only positive was the location into town. I really hate to give anyone a negative review but this place was an absolute dump. The description and photos are deceptive. To the owners: do better.

I apologize for your bad experience, we will take note of your concerns and address them. As for the loud noises, the neighbors in the area have been working on something in their shed as of late. We apologize for the noise it has caused and will bring it up to them. The listing itself doesn’t mention there being a kitchen hence there is no kitchen. The small bed you mentioned is a sofa bed that can be pulled out to become larger. There are extra thick blankets in the cabinet as well. We would’ve gladly helped you locate them had we’d known. We apologize if the stay wasn’t to your expectation but our listing’s details and pictures are identical to what is offered at the property.

It's a generous 3 stars. This isn't a 2 bedroom rental. It's a 2 bed. a very creative way to call it a 2 bedroom. It was very clean, but that's where my compliments end. It needs some updating. My back is killing me. I arrived at night, and the place was so dark, I wasn't sure I was in the right place because it was so hard to see. I was actually nervous approaching the house. My 83 year old parents were supposed to be with me, and it would have been extremely unsafe for them. The path around was bumpy and it would have been very difficult for them to manage. The house had a pile of gravel taking up half of the driveway, and just stuff everywhere. Building materials? I am not even sure. cannot believe I spent so much money to stay here. Never again.

Not a true 2 bedroom.

The property was clean and I have to say that the bed in the bedroom was very comfortable but I can't speak to the one in the foyer. The stairs going up to the door a little difficult when negotiating luggage I suppose that cannot be helped. But we didn't like about this place is it it's not a two-bedroom apartment. What's this is is a bedroom and bathroom a back entrance and a vestibule that was cleaved off from the main house. So you open the door and you're in the first so-called bedroom with a small bed up against the wall. Also in that room is a small refrigerator and a breakfast bar which is a shelf for the coffee maker. There's also a microwave on top of the fridge which is on the other side of the room. A pantry door in the hallway will you plates and glasses etc. Not very many towels for two people. But back to the layout it really is uncomfortable. We expected a real kitchen or at least a kitchenette and not a bed when you open the door. It felt crowded unless you wanted to use the main bedroom as a living room because there was a TV there. Also the bar is rather primitive and the furniture is just very much whatever they have laying around. So I don't think it's worth the price. It is a very nice Suburban neighborhood in Middletown not far from Newport so that's something. But we were there for the classical music festival and we'll try another place next time. We want a real apartment with two bedrooms.
