Welcome to our recently renovated, dog-friendly home with fantastic views of Lookout Mountain! This is our personal home which we live in during the winter and offer as a VRBO throughout the rest of the year! The house is fully stocked, decorated with love and ready to go for your stay!

Location:
~20 min from downtown Chattanooga
~10 min to St.Elmo
~8 min to Chickamauga!

We know this area / Chattanooga very well and are happy to give you recommendations for your stay!

ABOUT THE HOME:

The home went through a complete renovation including new windows, basement refinish, landscaping and a NEW 3rd bathroom with STEAM SHOWER.

We love the natural MCM look of the 1960s rancher and chose to lean into the uniqueness - by keeping the original green bathroom tiles and beadboard basement.

This home is spacious for multiple couples, children and pets.

The 2nd floor
-Includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. 1 bathroom is en-suite to the primary bedroom, and 1 bathroom is off of the main hallway. This floor walks out to the amazing back-deck with a view of Lookout Mountain. The back-deck faces West so guests can see the most amazing sunsets. In the morning, you can enjoy your coffee/tea listening to the birds. Deck includes two layout chairs, a 4-top metal table set with umbrella and two stackable chairs, a gas grill, chimenea, and stocked with firewood on the first floor.

The 1st floor
-Completely finished partial basement which walks-outside to the fenced back yard / dog run. This floor includes the largest 4th bedroom (this bedroom does not have a window), and an entertainment room that has 3 separate beds (futon, twin trundle) - perfect for kids or a group of friends.
-This floor includes a brand new 3rd full bathroom with walk in, steam shower
Extras
-Most rooms include a Smart TV and bathrooms include Bluetooth speakers within the ceiling fan!

-The house is on a water filtration system meaning all of the sink and shower water is completely filtered! No water bottles needed here.

-The garage is huge and includes a full laundry area with stain stick, detergent, dryer sheets - everything you may need.

-Easy check-in and check-out process with a Smart Lock.

-We have dogs and understand how hard it can be to book a VRBO that is dog friendly! The home is optimized to make it easy for those traveling with their dogs. We include 2 pet gates, eating & drinking bowls and dog friendly blankets. We charge $60 per dog. We are flexible on the amount of dogs (because we are dog lovers) please just reach out in advance. *Please note sometimes our internet can be spotty downstairs since we are up in the mountains. The internet upstairs however is always strong and reliable*

This is a lovely and convenient home for a family or friends gathering near Chattanooga. It is clean, comfortable and spacious enough for just hanging around the house. We had 6 adults and 3 kids under 9. It is less than 15 minutes to Chickamauga National Battlefield and about 20 minutes to Rock City, Lookout Mountain, etc. BTW, the holiday lights at Rock City are like nothing you have every seen - AMAZING. The house is also about 25 minutes from downtown and easy to get to off of 24. Winter views of Lookout Mtn are lovely.

Excellent property, allowed us to spread out and have privacy plus separate dogs. Only issue we really had was the neighbors’s dogs barked a LOT, and no curtains means safety lights kept the bedrooms brighter than was comfortable for sleeping well.

This place was great! There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was large and easy to move around in. The beds were very comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet. A neighbor came across the street and helped me with the front door when I couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t open. This cozy house had plenty of comforts. This was a very special trip for us as my husband had previously been a patient at Siskin and wanted to go back to thank those who cared for him during his 4-month stay there. We went to the zoo and thoroughly enjoyed it. The host was the best host ever, instantly answering any questions. The view was just as beautiful as described! There is so much to do in Chattanooga, but we didn’t have time to do everything. We did enough for this trip. Having my husband be able to experience it with us was the best part!

Very nice one level for an elderly mother. The house was well equipped for a family. The neighborhood was safe but Waze and google maps directed a different way every time.

Great rental close to Chattanooga

We stayed for a long weekend with the family to visit Chattanooga. It was perfect for us and the kids & dogs, too. We really enjoyed the scenery, the space was great, the place was clean & had everything we needed. They even setup a scavenger hunt for the kids! Hosts were very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here!

Quiet, peaceful, comfortable

Our group of 9 came from all over the country for a few days together. Bedrooms were great, kitchen was well-appointed, neighborhood was quiet. Some in our group had to work and WiFi was good. We took walks, shopped at local grocery and thrift stores, and cooked and grilled at the house. View is incredible off of the back deck. Chattanooga is a great city with so much to do and see. Highly recommend this property. Host was great to work with.

Home-Away-From-Home

This home was a perfect place to stay to host our daughter’s graduation from Covenant College along with family joining us from 4 other states! The bedrooms & bathrooms were pristine & comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked. This home provided us everything we needed to be comfortable & more. Erika, our host, gave recommendations that were all excellent! The location is on a quiet street with a lovely back deck view. We’d eagerly stay here again & hope to return soon!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is easy to find, check-in/out directions are clear, fast (and friendly) response time from the host, super clean. We found everything we needed in the house. The beds are comfortable. Very close to wonderful hiking and historic battlefield locations. Would stay here again if I was in the area.

Wonderful wedding weekend

Our daughter was getting married in the GA mountains and I rented this house for us for the weekend. The place is simply lovely. It still has a lot of the 50s charm of when the house was likely built, but many updates to make it modern. Plenty of bedrooms for all the extended family to stay in one place. We have two little Dachshunds, and the house is very dog friendly, even supplying dog gates and blankets. The owner Erika was great to communicate with. She was very prompt with a response to any question I had. I would highly recommend this house if you need to be in the area!

Wonderful stay near Lookout Mountain

Wonderful Booking

We had an amazing stay at this property. There were 8 of us total and there was plenty of room for everyone. They have very sweet and friendly neighbors and the property itself was well stocked and beautiful. The housekeeper knew we had smaller children with us and even set up a scavenger hunt for them which they loved. Communication with the owners was prompt and thorough. They checked on us after we arrived to make sure that everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this property if you are staying in the are. It was one of the best homes we have ever rented. Property better than described! Absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful but clean we enough to attractions! Owner communicated very well! Provided pack and play for infant grandbaby. Scavenger hunt left for others that they enjoy very much. Just all around great stay!!

I am from Chicago, Illinois and my family and I own this property for a Winter Getaway and rent it out to great guests like you for the other 10 months! While in the GA/TN area, I love to hike with my dog, try the local breweries and go to local music shows and art sales!

The view of Lookout Mountain is absolutely unbelievable. The deck faces west so you will catch many beautiful sunsets.
