Nous vous invitons à visiter notre petite ville pittoresque nichée dans les contreforts de Lookout Mountain, en Géorgie, à seulement 20 minutes de Chattanooga, dans le Tennessee. Cette résidence privée est située sur le terrain de l’historique Gordon-Lee Mansion, au cœur de Chickamauga, en Géorgie.

Les installations comprennent 4 chambres, 2 salles de bain complètes (suite principale King au niveau principal), une cuisine pleine grandeur, un salon et une salle à manger à aire ouverte, une buanderie, un solarium avec bar et un patio extérieur. La maison a été récemment meublée et maintenue méticuleusement propre. Profitez des magnifiques jardins de la propriété ainsi que des visites saisonnières du Gordon Lee Mansion, construit en 1847.

La maison est idéalement située à distance de marche de notre charmant quartier du centre-ville. Prenez le trottoir vers une variété de restaurants et de boutiques uniques. Assurez-vous de visiter Crawfish Springs, juste en face de la rue.

Traversez la ville en 5 minutes en direction de Lee et Gordon’s Mills pour pêcher ou lancer votre kayak / canot dans le ruisseau West Chickamauga. N’oubliez pas d’apporter vos vélos et de vous promener en toute sécurité sur le champ de bataille de Chickamauga, le plus ancien et le plus grand parc militaire national des États-Unis.

Les enfants apprécieront le Holland Watson Veterans Park, situé en ville, au coin de Crittenden Avenue et de W 8th Street. Le parc propose une aire de jeux, un terrain de basket, un terrain de beach volley et un pavillon pour les pique-niques.

Au nord du centre-ville de Chickamauga, sur l’autoroute 341, vous trouverez notre parc à coke. Les fours à coke et les wagons de chemin de fer de la ruche datant de 1890 ont été restaurés et restaurés dans les années 1990 et le parc a depuis été entretenu et préservé par la ville de Chickamauga.

We loved the location. So much to explore and such a rich history in a very charming little town. The kids loved having the large open yard land to explore and play around. It was a fantastic getaway.

We traveled to Chickamauga for a family wedding and found this property. It worked well for our group of 5. We used 4 of the 5 bedrooms. The property is ideally located in the very center of downtown Chickamauga on the grounds of an historic mansion. There isn't much to do in Chickamauga and found we had to travel outside of the small town for most of what we wanted to do but a great choice and it worked well. We had no internet upon arrival but the host/manager immediately had a crew to the house for the repair.The only other comment I would offer is relative to bathrooms. There is a full, small bathroom on the 2nd floor where 3 bedrooms are located. And a larger full bath on the first floor for use by the two bedrooms on that level located on opposite sides of the home. The bathroom is located inside the one bedroom so it was awkward for general use and for the other bedroom occupants. Not a huge deal.Note the kitchen has only a regular 12 cup coffee pot and not a Keurig as most properties. We always bring along our K cups and had to find other coffee after arrival.We would recommend this property and would happily stay there again.

Beautiful spot loaded with history

I chose to stay here the night before my wedding with my groomsmen. There was plenty of space, enough beds and easy access. Although I stayed one night myself, my guys were happy with the location and the house itself.

Wonderful stay in Chattanooga area!

What a wonderful family vacation in the Chattanooga area. We loved all the green space around the house, and the house itself was comfortable with everything we needed. The short distance to Chattanooga attractions made this home very convenient, and our kids loved the historic setting. We loved Rainbow Lake falls, Rock City, and the Tennessee Aquarium.

What fun!

The whole family walked around the property and thoroughly enjoyed the history. Everyone from the 20-year-old, to the 85-year-old! The trip there had been pretty rough, so pulling into a property that turned out to be so much fun for us, was such a treat! Thanks much, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

Lovely home with awesome location!

The house was just as described and my group love the historical grounds they could explore. Only about 25 minutes to Chattanooga, so it was very conveniently located. The town of Chicamauga was adorable and had all the amenities you need. I highly recommend this rental!

Great house for families!

My sister and I brought our families here for a post-Christmas getaway and the house was perfect! Two rooms for the adults downstairs and all the teens took the top bedrooms. The house is beautiful and historic, perfect for our stay. We enjoyed walking to downtown Chickamauga for dinner and it was a quick drive to other attractions that we visited (Rock City, Chickamauga battlefield, downtown Chattanooga). We loved it!

Very Nice Family Weekend in the Chattanooga area

We have adult and teen children and grandchildren in several states. We rented the Green House in Chickamauga for the gang to meet for a long weekend and it was perfect for us. Lots of things to do, including the Aquarium, Rock City, Stone Mountain and the Civil War Era sites and history. Great October weekend!

Nice and easy

Our family enjoyed our stay. We were visiting the sights of Chattanooga and it was nice to stay outside of the hustle of the city. The place was perfect for our family as far as size and sleeping arrangements. The only downside was that the weather wasn’t great our first night so we thought we'd stick around and watch a movie but the tv in the main room was small and hard to accommodate everyone…I know, not much to even mention. Check in was easy and we found everything in good condition.
