Unfortunately, aside from the condo’s convenient location to a bike/walking trail, we were very very unhappy with our stay at Robin’s Nest. Firstly, the master bedroom was the most disappointing of all, because a comfortable bedroom is obviously the one thing that clearly makes or breaks a vacation/getaway. First of all, the master bedroom’s mattress was the WORST we ever experienced. It’s clearly very old and completely worn out from years of overuse. It has a deep, localized sinkhole and my poor husband, who only weighs approximately 180 lbs suffered terribly during the 5 nights we stayed. We actually left a day early because he just couldn’t bear another night. The surface of the mattress is so worn and wonky that it fails to provide any spinal support and left my husband in sheer agony. Every pillow in the condo is clearly overused, flat and provided no comfort. Ever pillow in the entire condo (aside from the square ones in the second bedroom with twin beds) looked as if they’d been overused. I even took a picture of the worst one because I wanted to have proof of this statement. The master bedroom had no curtains, only shades, that let the morning sun in, so there was no sleeping in on our vacation. The bedroom also has a creepy old trunk. Every side or end table is “decorated” with large books or decorative items which left little space for the placement or convenience of setting a coffee cup on it. Needless to say, I would never stay again!
