Enjoy this tucked-away spacious, peaceful family getaway with lots of indoor and outdoor space. Wooden cathedral ceilings with fireplace and lots of windows to enjoy nature. Dine outdoors on the large wrap around deck with grill, firepit, horseshoes, and cornhole. Enjoy fishing and the rope swing at the nearby Robinson river. Walking distance to Blue Quartz
Brewery and Winery. Enjoy the best of Madison - Local Horseback Riding, Hiking Old Rag and White Oak Canyon all within minutes away.

Had a few issues related to severe storms, and host responded immediately and took care of everything right away!Very clean, close to Old Rag and Skyline Drive. Had a great time!

Peggy left the house in perfect condition. It was amazing. She also was very understanding about the weather related issues with the house. I would gladly host her again if she chooses to dare hike Old Rag Mountain again.

Absoutely beautiful home. Best VRBO I have ever stayed at. The best well stocked home I have ever stayed in. Everything you can think of is here. Except an Air Fryer that would have been nice to have. I will be looking to schedule again next year. Thank you Ms. Anna... The hostes with the mostest!!

Holiday Weekend in Virginia

What a wonderful place! The house offers both group gathering spaces and quiet nooks. The deck is a lovely space to eat breakfast. The kitchen was the most well equipped of any rental I have stayed at. The piano was a huge hit-! The beds are comfortable and the entire stay was fantastic. Anna was a superb host and was very easy to work with. I recommend this home to anyone.

This was a terrific place to stay. Spacious, quiet, clean, well stocked, and easy check-in and check-out. We used it for one night between drives into Shenandoah for hikes and it was perfect.

Convenient for Hiking

This was a great property and extremely convenient to hiking Old Rag. Very clean and it has a ton of cooking equipment for longer stays. We would love to come back and stay longer!

Great spot for access to Shenandoah

Vrbo was perfect for our hike in Shenandoah! Vrbo had everything we needed and was in a great location. The host forgot to send us the check in code to enter the property , but responded pretty once we got there.

Lovely country home

Wish we had planned a longer stay. Secluded home with all amenities including grill and fire pit. Three bedrooms and well stocked kitchen. Great place to chill.

Clean & Comfortable

Clean and well-stocked for a quick overnight trip to the area with two infants. Our only issue was the wait for hot water (lots of bottles to wash), and that the heater wasn’t large enough to fill the very deep tub to even halfway with hot water, which was more a disappointment than a necessity. The internet was fast and the location very quiet.

Very Nice Place

Girlfriends and I wanted to stay in the heart of wine country. This home was very well situated between the wineries we wanted to visit. The home itself was very comfortable with cute and comfy furnishings. Would stay here again! Loved sitting on the deck, sipping coffee.

Men’s retreat

We enjoyed our stay very much. The space was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was pretty well stocked in both pans and staples. We were disappointed, however, with how full the freezer was with food, almost to the point where we couldn’t store what we brought, and the refrigerator was fairly filled as well We also would’ve liked if the campfire chairs had been better maintained, but the grill worked well. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and felt it was a very good value.

Hiking weekend with friends

7 of us stayed here for a weekend and we couldn't have been happier with the house and the host! Lots of room for all of us, and even room for a few more. House was clean and comfortable, and Anna was more than accommodating!

Hiking Paradise!

We had an excellent Stay at Anna’s House! House was very close to Old Rag Mountain so it was really convenient to relax at the house after the long hike at Old Rag Mountain. Houses was clean, organized and welcoming. We highly recommend Anna’s house for anyone staying near Okd Rag Mountain or Shenandoah Parn. Thanks, Ash
