Sekoya Sancturary offers a new free standing spilt level home nestled into a serene redwood forest. The home is private, offering a calm and meditative environment, yet close to town. Sekoya Sanctuary is great for a romantic get away or family vacation as we are close to beaches and both state and National forests. The local area offers wonderful farmer’s markets, a multitude of restaurants and endless local beaches. Please ask about pricing for a longer stay if that is of interest.

What a perfect location! The serenity and solitude is so good for the soul. Such luxurious linens, and Elisabeth is kind and genuinely caring. It was so good meeting her when we arrived. The home had everything we needed and more, Elisabeth went over and beyond.

Lovely place

The entire family just loved the stay at your lovely home! If we’re ever back in the area, we will definitely want to stay there. I have never been in such a cool house like this one. Unlike anywhere we have ever stayed. Everything was so nice and tidy and lots of amenities. Room for all five of us and two dogs. We really, really loved it!!! Magical was a good word for it.

Magnificent trees

The redwoods were gorgeous and so close to the house! We arrived from another state. We were expecting a book telling us things likeIs the tap water drinkable? How do we turn on the heat? But there was no info. Or maybe info about recommendations for seeing the trees. We slept well. There were plenty of blankets!!

Had a fantastic stay! The gost was awesome and communicated amazingly and brought us galf akd half for morning coffee! Would highly recommend this stay!

Beautiful peaceful home!

Absolutely loved the home and location! The house was cozy, inviting, and well stocked. The location is beautiful and so peaceful. We loved walking in the trees and sitting on the porch. Elisabeth made the check in and check out process super easy. Our only disappointment was that we were only there for a day.!

Great Redwood Hideaway

Beautiful location 20 minutes outside Eureka. View from patio is incredible and great place to chill. Living area furnishings were fine but not too inviting. Much better suited for 4 people. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of kitchen and bathroom linens and supplies. Host was very responsive.

Magical Stay in the Redwoods

My teenage son and I stayed here over New Years. It was a perfect little house for our first real adventure in the Redwoods. It is about 5 miles up a small rural 2 lane road, about 20 minutes from Eureka. There is a beautiful farming community before you turn up the road and Bayside is close-by with an awesome restaurant. We got in after dark the day we checked in and Elizabeth was sweet enough to leave the lights on and turn the heat on for us. She even had a little Christmas tree still up for us while we were there. There was wood for the wood and supplies burning stove to keep us warm too. Millions of towels, the kitchen was well stocked with supplies and cooking utensils, which isn't usually the case with many of the places I have stayed. The beds were super comfy and had tons of extra blankest to keep us warm.There were some outdoor supplies as well and a cool little outdoor shower but we were there in Dec/Jan so obviously we didn't use it. The Redwoods were literally outside of every window!We felt safe and comfortable staying here. 100% recommend

Special treehouse!

Great communication and very accommodating. The house was even nicer in person than it seemed in photos. Spotless and everything you could need plus extras. Very serene with treehouse vibes from every window. Washer and dryer was nice to have and high-quality products in the bathrooms. Living room area was a little small but manageable. The only real downside we felt was that the heater seemed to be primarily in the kitchen and dining room area, which didn’t flow all the way through the house well. The fireplace was nice, but we were challenged to figure out how to not be either hot or cold. Maybe with more than one night we would have figured out the system. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the house and explore the area

Cozy retreat!

Our family of 5 stayed for one night along a pacific coast roadtrip. Elisabeth thoughtfully prepared the space for our family making our arrival easy. We all loved the quiet and peaceful location. Our youngest (age 8) loved the nook in the living room choosing to sleep in it overnight. The house was well stocked and Elisabeth was a fantastic host during our too short of a stay.

Delightful House in the Forest

My wife and I stayed here with another couple. The house is comfortable and everything functions as it should. The kitchen has a nice stove and is well equipped for cooking. We enjoyed a short stroll in the redwood forest outside.

Sublime Sequoia Sanctuary

We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more! With the goal of our trip being an escape to the redwoods, this was the perfect spot. Plenty comfortable for a 4-head family, and stocked with nice furnishings, appliances, and wares. The host is very sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend. Go stay and enjoy!

Beautiful Location

A bit difficult to find. Surrounded by trees. Both bedrooms are up stairs. The main bedroom has a bathroom but no shower or tub have to go downstairs. Has a fire stove in living room but it smokes into the house. Only heat source is in the kitchen. Kitchen was nice and had a few supplies for cooking. Very quiet

Redwood Heaven

This little house in the woods was perfect. Waking up to the redwoods surrounding you while you drink a cup of coffee in the cozy little nook was perfection! So calming and relaxing. I definitely did not want to leave. Plus we had our first look at banana slugs on the property! So cool! The house itself was so lovely - the beds were very comfortable! My kids now want new mattresses when we return home! Greatly appreciate the basic essentials being provided in the home, as we were traveling through rather quickly on a roadtrip to Seattle. Thank you so much for hosting us. It was a perfect getaway!

Unforgettably Beautiful Hidden Gem

We enjoyed absolutely everything about our stay. The home had everything we could possibly need & a beautiful view out of each and every window. We spent some time on the back patio & exploring around the property. The excitement we all had over seeing banana slugs was so much fun. Such a gorgeous & serene place. We will definitely return. If you are looking to stay near Kneeland

This is a decent house to stay in for up to 4 people. (It will sleep 6 with pullout couch). Well equipped, furniture a little sparse but adequate. Lots of great big bathroom towels which was a nice change. It worked well for what we needed.

This is a private home in the redwood forest. It is a quiet spot to rest and meditate and cook a good meal. I have even heard spotted owls in the forest here.
