Fabulously renovated cottage, close to beach

Hodnett Cooper is proud to offer this lovely 4 bedroom, 2 bath home, just a short walk to the beach.

This home has the true feel of a classic beach cottage with many intact original features. The updated kitchen, bathroom and furnishings give this home a fresh feel. Enjoy dining alfresco or enjoy the morning paper on the back has a patio area overlooking a large landscaped lawn. You can park the car and stroll down to one of the many local restaurants. A variety of options are available from casual to a bit more upscale. 500 Union Street is only 4 blocks to the public beach access.

This home features a great open floor plan in the main perfect for entertaining with a spacious, sophisticated gourmet kitchen with gas range and bar seating for two. On one side you can enjoy the den which has a relaxing feel with beautiful wood beam ceilings. The other side offers dining for four that opens into the beautiful living room with large TV; great for any football fan. Enjoy YouTube Live TV on all TVs through out the house in the place of traditional cable. There are two queen bedrooms on the main level share a common bathroom. Venture up the stairs to the master and third of the queen bedrooms which also share a bathroom.

Bedding Includes: 1 King, 3 Queens

Please note that the washer and dryer are located in the garage at this particular property and fireplaces are non functional.

We love St. Simon’s Island and the house just added to the great experience. It is situated near restaurants and shops and it had everything we could have needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful home. Great location

This was our annual girls trip. The house was beautiful and comfortable. Plenty of room. Loved the screened in porch. Close to beach, restaurants and shops.

Very nice location, clean and comfortable

The property was very clean and comfortable. It was close to both the beach and pier. We were quite happy with this home. I would suggest though, that maybe a welcoming packet with more instructions might be useful. We never did get the ice maker to work! But overall a positive experience!

Gorgeous Beach Cottage

The home is gorgeous and fit for a larger group of people! 5 min walk to the beach and near plenty of restaurants and attractions. Our only qualm is the home only has two bathrooms. The master bedroom is upstairs but it was beside the smallest bathroom which didn’t make sense to us. This bathroom also has no counter space. Other than the challenge of sharing two bathrooms with a larger group, the home is beautiful and provides an excellent get-away.

Great old house with modern updates in a great location. It was not the most toddler friendly house in that the staircase was open and there were a lot of fragile items, but once we babyproofed it we had no issues!
