House was perfect for our family of four - in fact our kids could have brought a couple of friends as well and we would have still been good. House is spacious, well described, full of everything you need and very suitable for that group that’s there for fun, or for business. Centrally located between everything you want to see in DC, and anything you’d like to experience in Bethesda (restaurants, Metro, etc). Whole Foods (and other grocery stores), Target and anything else you need are minutes away. Coming to Washington DC to go sightseeing? Book this house in confidence. The host is responsive and professional. Five stars.

Fantastic house close to AU

This house was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated in a nice neighborhood. There was lots of room for a large group and two living spaces for visiting and sharing time together. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Close proximity to AU and Bethesda. We had a wonderful stay!

Holiday Vacation

We stayed here over the holidays 2024. The property was as listed and the pictures are accurate. The home has been almost completely updated and is clean and modern. We have a family of 5 and there was plenty of space for us all to relax. There is public transportation nearby making access to the city simple.

Very clean and comfortable

Very clean, spacious and comfortable home minutes from DC. I stayed with my 4 daughters ages 16, 14. 12 and 8 and everything was perfect. Very gracious host. Lots of room for families. Comfortable beds and linens. We would stay there again.

Phenomenal House in Bethesda

The property is beautiful, comfortable and complete. If anything, it is more than the description because of the additional sleeping quarters in the basement. The host couldn't be nicer, more communicative and helpful

Property worked well

Our family flew in for a funeral so having the space worked well. Host was very responsive to questions we had. The 5th bedroom is a sofa bed. We were often awake early due to jet lag and one thing we found was that sound from people’s movement does travel between the differing floors.

Gorgeous house

Our group of friends and family were super comfy in the house, which is an absolute stunner. Karina was easy to reach and answered questions quickly. We had perfect weather, so we gor to enjoy the back patio area and the trampoline. My favorite though was the giant front lawn, which my partner even napped on. the house is on a major street, but is so set back and tucked in that you wouldnt know it.

Big House, Great Value!

This is a very spacious, bright and airy 3-floor house (plus basement) where a large family can spread out and not feel like we were running into each other all the time. It is a great value for the rental price given the expensive area. We liked the extensive family room and living room seating, and the kitchen was well-equipped with cooking equipment and utensils. A binder with information for the renters would be really helpful, that might contain the Wi-Fi info and things like that. All in all, a great house!

Good location

Our family found the property easily accessible to DC for siteseeing. The rooms are spacious and there are enclosed outdoor areas for the kids. Bring your own shower soaps, etc. as those were not supplied. Bath towels and mats are quite worn and one main bathroom sink was completely blocked. The owner quickly acknowledged the issue but was traveling so we just worked around it. There are no TVs on the main floor. One is in the basement which was too cold for us (we chose not to use the bedroom downstairs for that reason) and the other was in a small, top floor bedroom that has a loveseat so it was a bit cozy and meant someone had to sit on the floor if the four of us watched together. This may not be an issue if using personal devices because the main floor has two comfortable living rooms in which people can spread out.

Thank you for the review. We fixed one of the main bathroom sinks that was clogged, the other sink was not clogged. There are two separate furnace units for the heater, one of them is for the basement. If it was cold you could have increased the heater. The furnace is new (upgraded in January 2024) and it is working perfect.

Leafy Urban Island

We very much enjoyed our 3-day weekend stay at this wonderful property. Although the setting is an urban residential area, a magnificent black walnut tree and a privacy fence provide a spacious, yet intimate setting, including a large stone patio with seating behind the house. (It was too hot during our stay to spend much time outdoors, but we made good use of the grill.) The three-story house is newly renovated and well-appointed. There are 5 spacious bedrooms, each with its own bath (two each on the 2nd and 3rd floors and 1 in the finished basement). The first floor has a large open-plan kitchen-dining-living area, plus a second sitting area with fireplace at the opposite end of the house. The kitchen was fully equipped, enabling several people to work together to prepare meals throughout our stay. The central AC system kept all areas pleasantly cool. The urban location provides convenient access to grocery stores, cafes and restaurants, and public transportation. We had a car, but I give the area a high walkability rating. Our host was extremely responsive to our pre- and post-visit messages (we used the VRBO app), and we would happily return to this property in the future.
