We enjoyed our stay. The house needs to be cleaned better. Paying as much as we did, i did not expect to see a thick layer of dust on the lamps and wooden furniture, as well as ants in the kitchen.

A few things need to be updated like the grill, toaster and washing machine.The kitchen was well stock with dishes, pots, pans and utensils. The pool was really nice and there were beach chairs and sand toys to use. The house is very close to many shops and places to eat.

We couldn't grill so we had to use the oven or a small charcoal grill to cook which doesn't help with a bigger family. The screen porch was great.will most likely rent this place again

A, the toilet in the hallway bathroom was never useable (it would not flush), B, the AC went out while we were there and they could not get anyone to come fix it before we left, C, we found a baby bottle in the couch that smelled atrocious (we thought we had dropped food and we found that). The house was nice though and we enjoyed our stay for the most part.

I knew this was an older home and was prepared for dated décor. I was not expecting brand new or 5 star but I did expect furnishings in good repair and comfortable. The living room furniture and master bedroom mattress are well past their prime. We loved the location.

Private Relaxing Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When I first walked into this house, I was shocked that the furniture was so 1960's. The kitchen had been remodeled, but some cabinet's laminate was coming off. It ended up being one of the most relaxing vacations we've have ever had. My son pointed out that the house and furniture were not so pristine that it made you uncomfortable. We loved the screened-in back porch and the pool. The property only had one neighbor, two snakes and occasional golfers looking for their lost balls in the woods behind the pool.

We Loved it. The house we stayed in (The Green House in Kitty Hawk ) was just perfect. Everything so clean and nice. The pool was kept very clean for when we got there and also we got discounts to the water park thanks to the rental company ( Beach Realty ) something that you probably cant get in a hotel or other places . so yes i definetly recomend it to anybody . i will be going again next year for sure . ☺☺☺👌👍👍👍👍👍

Green house

Our stay was nice, you have to drive to the beach, the listing said the beach was 300 yards away, more like a mile. But there are plenty of free parking spots in early June. (Might be different in July or August). The regular coffee pot needs replaced, it doesn’t work well at all, we did use the Keurig. A could have the door shelve containers are cracked and need replaced. The leaves have not been removed and blow into the pool constantly. You would think the would have a vacuum for it. The inside is dated, but nice, we enjoyed the screened in porch. It is a nice neighborhood.

Green house

Checking in was easy and straight forward. Was given the wrong internet login and when called it was verified … still wrong. Had to speak to renternet to get correct login information and then internet was unavailable. Took a total of 6 phone calls to get it hooked up. Then sent someone in the middle of the day to fix, which kept us from enjoying the beach that day. It was a bit of a cluster. I would t have pursued it if I didn’t need to telework some. Otherwise, the house is cute. The pool area is nice. If you stay here, make sure you bring extra towels, the shower door leaks a lot of water on the floor. We are big fans of OBX and kitty hawk area and will visit again but likely with different rental company in hopes that the details are more accurate.

Yes, It’s an Older Property But...

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Know what you’re getting before renting. The location is not 300 yards to the beach—it’s actually 1 mile to the ocean. The images posted do not truly depict the condition of the property. While we knew it was an older, dated rental home, there are some things that seem unacceptable, including the combination of its maintenance and cleanliness issues: the whole house smelled musty; the bathrooms smelled & had mildew, especially in the main shower; one shower didn’t have the sweep, so the floor was flooded after every shower; the carpet was stained and looked unclean; there was inadequate lighting w/many non-functioning lights, light switches, & outlets; we found cockroaches (dead & alive) throughout the house, including the laundry room, which was so gross that we actually cleaned it ourselves so that we could do laundry. Needless to say, we will not be renting this property again.

Loved the pool

I loved this pool and house! The layout of the house is so convenient! The bathroom in the master bedroom could use some work that’s not so convenient. Other than that it was a great stay!

The pool was great to relax in. The cleaning was great and we enjoyed the stay. Beach Realty service for a problem during our stay was terrible. It had nothing to do with the house so I would recommend it but because Beach Realty manages it, we won’t stay there again. On Tuesday I messaged BR about needing pool service due to storms that filled the pool with bugs, worms and frogs. The net at the house has holes and didn’t work. Someone responded and said someone would be out. No one came. Wednesday I messaged again. No one came. Thursday I messaged again, still no one. Unacceptable.

2/10 – Terrible

The rental house was in poor shape. Huge spiders and webs.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Contacted the office to complain about bunk beds which were very shaky. Kids didn't feel comfortable in them. Several days later someone came to attempt to fix. Grill had no gas. Grill was in horrible shape. A new one was delivered the day before we left

Beach vacation stay at the Green House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Green House was perfect for my family. It was clean and well equipped. The pool was well kept. The neighborhood seemed residential and quiet. There was plenty of space for privacy and plenty of room for family togetherness. We loved the home.

GOODTIME!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the pool,a/c was great and ceiling fans. It could have been a little more cleaner. It needs a new refrigerator and some updating paint,and decor.
