Family-friendly animal farm and homesteading haven. Close to the Gulf Beaches.

Our Roomy two bedroom two bath guest Guest house is located on our country farm with view of animals and surrounded by trees. Private farm tour and animal encounter is included in your stay.

This house sleeps ten- to twelve with large families and extended families in mind. The Master Bedroom is equipped with a queen bed, twin daybed, tv, and master bath with sit in shower. ***We need to replace the shower stall in the master bath. Guests will be limited to the toilet and sink in the master bath until it can be repaired.***

The Bunk Room has two twin bunks, one twin over full bunk and a tv. The bathroom is right next to the bunk room. The bathroom has a full tub.

Our living room has a large TV, love-seat, recliner and full-size futon. Its equipped with a full kitchen with dishwasher and farm table. There are two porches and a charcoal grill with view of the woods in back and farm in the front.

We have kayaks available for local use included with stay. We are ten minutes to Wewahitchka and the Dead Lakes, ten minutes to Port St. Joe, Mexico beach is fifteen minutes away and Cape San Blas is a thirty minute drive. Panama City beach is an hour away. Blue Springs and caves in Mariana are an hour away.

Fishing, boating, beaching and small town charm all within a short drive away. If your looking for family fun in a natural setting that's still close to the beach this is the place for you!

Great location

Mostly used the property for the dark skies. Very conveniently located to Port St Joe. Bortle 2 skies for anyone else looking to do astrophotography or astronomy.

Awesome experience!

My entire family had an excellent time at the farm. The hosts were both super kind and gave an awesome tour of the animals on the property. The place was stayed was clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. It is also in a great location if you are looking to fish or hit the beaches. I highly recommend the Rise N Shine Farm!!

Wonderful hosts, took time out of their day for our children to meet their animals, Justin stayed late when we didn’t arrive at our expected time and met us late to ensure we made it In ok. Had everything we needed and more, will highly recommend this place and will be returning again! These are great people with a great little hideout! Go see them!

Nice get away!

Justin and his wife were very accomodating. Property was great to get away from the hustle of city living. Kids enjoyed playing football and feeding the animals!

Great stay

We had a great stay at Rise 'n' Shine farm. The space was very large and the bunk beds were surprisingly comfortable! My kids loved being able to see the animals, and the hosts even let us meet and feed their animals. The location is remote, but a short drive to groceries and the cute beach town of Port St. Joe. The hosts gave us our space/privacy but were very responsive. They also shipped us our ipad when we left it there by accident. All in all, a great place to spend spring break!

The place is just as described. It was clean, the view of the animals was great. Nice and quiet. I felt as if I was at home. The communication with the owner was very good and prompt. I would definitely stay again. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

We are husband and wife Army veterans who have lived many places. We settled in Wewahitchka in 2021 by way of Maryland. We had a farm there as well and brought all the animals that could make the trip with us. We enjoy sharing our animals and beautiful property with others so they can enjoy the natural beauty here in Gulf County, Florida.

The fence to the pasture is just outside your front door where the animals will greet you from the fence to say hello. Included with your stay is a private farm tour and access to kayaks to use in our local waterways.
