We were surprised at the roominess of the house — the photos didn’t fully convey the generous spaces available in the living room, kitchen, and rear porch. There was ample room for our families - 6 adults and 2kids. Thanks for a great week at the Cape!

Wonderful way to end the Summer!

Beautiful home where our family spent the last week of Summer 2024. Favorite spot was screened in porch, what a great place to wind down in the evening. Also a short walk to Skaket Beach was great as well.

Excellent in every way!

Great house with multiple spaces to "hang out" for extended family with young adults and kids, with bedrooms spread out for privacy. Large, well equipped kitchen, and large dining table for sharing meals together. Loved that it was walking distance to Skaket Beach and easy access to the rail trial. The outdoor shower was great!

Great Place for a Big Family

My husband and I were joined by our daughters, their partners, and our 4 year old grandson . The bedrooms were spacious. There is a large family room and a large porch. The backyard is large and the grill was great. Everyone had lots of space and a good time. Easy walk to Skaket Beach.

Great house for large family...great location to Skaket beach

The house had plenty of room with 2 livingrooms, and 2 sun screened in porches. We sat on the porch every night, it was relaxing and peaceful (with the children using the other porch). The AC units cooled the entire house. It was a great house! The only drawback was the smell coming from the upstairs carpets.

I'm glad you enjoyed the house, Sarah. I wish you had mentioned the smell during your stay and we would have sent someone over to fix it immediately. We did get a report of a smell coming from the AC unit after you left and addressed it right away. I think that's what you may have experienced since the carpets were thoroughly cleaned just a couple of weeks ago.

Week long family reunion

This property accommodated 3 to 9 people during our weekly stay in Orleans, Ma. Two living rooms, four bedrooms, and two enclosed porches allowed privacy for all. The dining room fit 9 people comfortably. One enclosed porch which allows for 13 people to sit comfortably, was our central gathering point. Upon arrival the house was thoroughly cleaned and spotless. The location is a great, plus as the beach is within walking distance for younger people but our over 75-year-old crowd (3 people) drove the 5 minutes to enjoy especially the low tide. This house is a gem. We even found a new restaurant in Orleans. It is Homeport Restaurant, low prices and great home cooking. Respectfully, Jim Jacewicz Marlborough, Ct

Orleans Vacation with Family

House was perfect for 7 Adults and 1 Child. I would definitely rent here again, we loved the back porch for gathering together for all our meals and games. All A/C's kept everyone cool, beds were comfortable, and loved the outdoor shower w/great water pressure. The walk to the beach is 15 minutes and we suggest walking the streets to Skaket beach and not using the path shown. Walk time is the same but not as easy of a walk especially with beach gear and the beach at the end not as nice. Only slight disappointment was the yard for us as last year we had nice green grass. The lawn here was rough and patchy but large for a 2yr old to work out his energy. All and all a great stay in a lovely home, area, and the entire rental process. Thank You, The Gallant Family

The house in Orleans was perfect for our family vacation. The space was fantastic we loved the 2 screened in porches and the large yard. This was a family friendly house with lots of games for everyone to enjoy. The house gave us plenty of space for 6 adults and 3 active kids. The location was fantastic for both bay and ocean beaches, kayaking , walking/running and quick trips for ice cream and supplies. We had a truly wonderful vacation and made so many family memories there. The host was easy to contact and communication was good. Can't say enough about our whole experience A real gem of a rental!

Fabulous porches!

We were very comfortable in this house and loved the large sunroom/screen porch where we spent most of our time. The smaller screen porch was also great for my son to use as an "office" to work remotely. Highly recommend this house.

Orleans Vacation

Our second time staying at this house. It was very comfortable for our multi-generational family. The location was super convenient to shopping and not too far from Coast Guard Beach, one of my favorites. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant, within walking distance to a wonderful private area of Skaket Beach. Overall a great family vacation house.

Great stay in Orleans

Our two families spent a great week here. There was plenty of room for all 7 of us and the walk to the beach was totally doable even with two beach tents and 3 kids worth of toys. The ACs and open plan were great bonuses, would totally stay here again.

Downfall

Great property. Only downfall is drive to the beach. Short walk to private beach wasn't very short. Ok walk for adults and older kids but not young ones.

Porch Chats

Early morning birdwatching and coloring were the best on the side porch. Family chats at the end of a beach day were on the sprawling screened porch. The house was well-stocked in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet. Walks through the neighborhood were beautiful. Just an excellent vacation. Thank you!

Family Vacation/Grandparents, Children and Grandchildren

Wonderful, spacious home & yard in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space for our family to gather in the large family room, kitchen (everything provided), dining room and 2 enclosed porches. Outside yard is large & safe for children. The owner was very responsive & kind and provided information on the house and places to enjoy in the area.

Family vacation

This is our second stay at 20 Hofe Rd. It is very comfortable for our family of 6 adults and 2 children.. Close to both Skaket and Nauset beaches and the bike trail.. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture 2 1/2 baths plus an outdoor shower.. Two porches for relaximg and dining.. There are airconditioners for those hot humid days and nights.. Love this house!

Great place for some peace and quiet with your family

Beautiful house and backyard! We stayed at this house with our two young children. We spent most of our time in the sunroom in the back, which was a lovely place to read and eat. Everything was clean, and the kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed. Close to the Captain Linnell House and Skaket Beach, groceries and whatever else you need. Would recommend!
