Skaket Beach - 4 BR / 3 BA - Post et faisceau de marche à Skaket

Antique, de quatre chambres, poutres et poteaux, maison de rêve. Bref, trois dixièmes-mile à pied de la plage de Skaket, un mile au centre de la ville, à quelques minutes à la piste cyclable, étangs d'eau douce, à trois miles à Nauset Beach. Idéalement situé, avec Nickerson Park, Brewster, Eastham, Wellfleet National Seashore à proximité.

Cette 18ème siècle, antiquité, la moitié cape a subi une énorme transformation. Les propriétaires sont antiquaires et ont ajouté 2000 pieds carrés à cette demi-cape de 1000 pieds carrés. Ce sont des résidents de longue date de la région qui sont prêts à partager leur maison chéri pour l'été. Meublé éclectique avec des antiquités, objets de collection, et les beaux-arts.

L'addition a été fabriqué à la main à partir d'un daté 1800 grange du New Hampshire. Ces poutres apparentes, taillé à la main ont été reconstruits à rendre difficile de voir où la vieille maison se termine et la nouvelle commence.

Voici les commodités:
* Quatre grandes chambres, toutes avec de hauts plafonds et ventilateurs à pales, le câble et téléphonique branchement. Les configurations de lit sont: Deux chambres disposent de 2 lits jumeaux, une a un lit queen et l'autre a une chambre double avec un canapé de canapé-lit simple.
* Trois salles de bains, une avec bain à remous, hammam et huit pulvérisation douche, on a une machine à laver / sèche-linge, douche extérieure et antique baignoire sur pattes, amusant pour tout le monde !!
* Immense cuisine gastronomique avec commerciale, Wolf, gamme à six brûleurs
* Antique évier en pierre de savon pour les poissons ou le nettoyage des coquillages !!!
* Pantry, une autre zone humide pleine taille avec évier profond et lave-vaisselle qui sauvegarde à l'immense bar en granit qui fait face à la salle à manger; cette salle à manger est de 20 pieds par 14 pieds ... le côté nord ouvre avec un curseur pour le pont arrière
* Grand hall, salle de boue, double salon au premier étage
* Grand salon ensoleillé au deuxième étage
* Laveuse et sécheuse au premier étage
* Bonne taille véranda avec canapé-lit
* Les propriétaires vivent à proximité et des locataires de respecter la vie privée
* Entrées séparées et d'un parking

What a great place! Plenty of room for everyone and lots of room for the kids to play. Very private but at the same time close to everything. Definitely recommend for a large group of friends or family.

A true homage to the real Cape Cod, this house is a shining amalgamation of artistry, history, and tradition while welcoming of newcomers into the way of things.The host was friendly, the house was relaxing, spacious and the location cannot be beat. Awesome house near Skaket beach!

We had a wonderful week with family in this spacious, charming house with cool antiques. Fabulous kitchen! So many little sitting areas so we could all be together yet have plenty of space.And a 10 min easy walk to Skaket beach. Hope to stay again next summer!!

Skaket Beach Post & Beam Rocks

This house is so comfy and full of really cool antique signs and serene beach pictures. The kitchen is well equipped with tons of kitchen appliances not to mention the awesome stove and oven! This was our 2nd time to spend a week and is our #1 pick when we go back. Additionally the location cannot be better!

Fantastic Week!

Two families (4 adults, 4 kids) had a great week here. The kitchen is really wonderful for any folks who like to cook. The artwork all around the house was such a great bonus to a very fun, curated space! Lots of little areas to chill and spread out. Walkable to Skaket Bay Beach! We hope to come back to this wonderful, unique, funky home again in the future!

My family and I were lucky enough to have a wonderful week at this very large home which was a 7-10 minute walk to Skaket Beach ( my grandchildren loved it). Great family gathering

The house was perfect for our extended family gathering. We all cook and the kitchen could not have been more well appointed. We made use of the big table for meals, the mid-sized table for puzzles and the deck was great too! The way the house is laid out worked well when the kids (or grown-ups) needed naps- the rest of us did not have to make any great effort to be quiet. And being able to walk to Skaket Beach was the icing on the cake!

This home was INCREDIBLE and we enjoyed a wonderful week. There are multiple places in the house to hang out, and the amazing decor will keep you entertained. From the moment we pulled into the "secret" driveway, we were intrigued and excited to see what was waiting for us. This house is eclectic and fabulous. We walked to Skaket Beach easily, and enjoyed using the beach wagon, chair, and toys provided. There is an outside BATHTUB hidden among the garden. The kitchen has every gadget you can think of, and a stainless steel grill which was a dream to cook on... We were really and truly THRILLED with this house! Our host was also fantastic. I would give 100 stars if possible... and if we EVER go back to Cape Cod this is where we will stay.

Eclectic post & beam dream house.

I have never walked into a more intriguing and interesting home. A massive & organized kitchen that open up to a huge entertaining area. Perfect for daily meals and impressing guests. The owners are antiques dealers which explains the intriguing peices at every turn. We continued to discover unique items and books throughout our stay. So many positive aspects to the home, deck, outdoor shower, beach supplies. This house is not for a modern condo person.

Magical

A rambling old place less than 10 minute walk to Skaket Beach. Plenty of beach chairs and other beach equipment. A fantastic and well stocked kitchen, great art and not your traditional selection of cape knick-knacks. Enough sitting places for big dinners and multiple places for a mixed-age party to hang out together and separately. Hosts are great - helpful but value their privacy. Only downside (and the upsides more than make up for it!) is there is very little internal privacy in the house - you can hear everything going on upstairs downstairs and vice versa.

Wonderful Cape House

This was such a wonderful house for our week at the cape. Perfect for our children and grandchildren. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 kids ages 6 and under. The location near Skaket Beach was perfect. The house was so comfortable and so full of interesting art and books and music. The kitchen is amazing!! We have only good things to say! Wonderful location and house

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is so accommodating to a large family group, and we loved the care and attention that the owners have taken in creating this unique home with an antique feel and all the modern conveniences. It is equipped with everything that our family of cooks needed to create and enjoy many meals together. And, the location walking distance to Skaket Beach can't be beat. We recommend it highly!

Great location

The house was perfect for our vacation needs (including being able to separate the teens from the adults so everyone could enjoy their time/sleep). The location is great. You can either walk 5 min to the beach, or, if you have a lot of stuff, quickly drop off people/stuff and walk back within 10 minutes. The shed at the house is FILLED with tons of beach items (chairs, coolers, floats, skim boards.. you name it!). There is ample dining space, though I did wish at times there was a couch/comfortable seating near in the kitchen area instead of the two tables. There is a large living room farther away, but we spent most of the time in the kitchen area (because it was awesome)! Bill and Mary were great hosts... They were there if you needed them, but otherwise let you just enjoy their house and left you alone. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Lisa
