This spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath ground floor unit is located in Park Avenue Condominium Complex. Parking is right near your door and there is no parking fee required. It is a low density, well maintained, quiet and relaxing complex. There is a large pool with a kiddie pool, gazebos and restrooms located right across the parking lot from this unit. Beyond the pool is a large lawn with grill and gazebo. The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils that you will require to prepare a home cooked meal as well as a pantry. A large laundry with full sized washer and dryer is next to the kitchen. The dining area with table and chairs for 6 leads to the living area which has a queen sleeper sofa, flat screen TV and a ceiling fan. A screened patio with table and chairs for 4 offers a view of the pool entrance. The master bedroom has a king bed and a ensuite bath. The guest bedroom has a queen bed. Both bedrooms have walk in closets, flat screen TV and ceiling fans. The spacious bathrooms have tile flooring and cultured marble vanities.

In the immediate vicinity of this complex are several amenities: Foley Sportsplex, OWA Amusement Park and Tropical Water Park, Tanger Outlet Mall, Gulf Bowl, Foley Railroad Museum, Golf Courses and too many restaurants to name. The beach and Gulf Shores Sportsplex are less than 15 miles away.

This is a very convenient place to stay whether you are coming for Sports Tournaments or just want a less expensive option for the Beach. Either way you will enjoy this unit for its convenient location

Perfect location for traveling to area softball fields when you also have a little that needs naps & downtime!Lots of food choices nearby, close to Walmart (we did grocery delivery to be delivered right as we arrived and it worked out well!), and close enough to still drive to the beach :)

OWA Adventure

A Condo With a Good List of Pros and Cons

The condo has a mix of pros and cons:Pros:1. It is relatively close to the Foley Sport Tourism and Sports Complex if you are attending a baseball or soccer game, very convenient.2. The water pressure is good. This is especially important for showers.3. There are ample resources provided to accommodate a short stay, kitchen, etc. All appliances worked well, dish tabs were provided. Good. 4. TVs in both bedrooms and den, an good internet service. Cons:1. The VRBO description provided by the property is deceiving - the property clearly at one time was a smoking property. While the posts say, "do not smoke" clearly caretakers were smoking as there were 2 ash trays inside; one was located on the coffee table and another on the porch table outside. The former owner also may have been a smoker. 2. When turning on the AC, due to smoke inhalation of the system, walls, and any linens (couch, etc) the room gets stirred-up of the smoke, and worsens the smoke smell. Clothes stored in the room smelled like cigarette smoke after 6 hours of having the system on. Smokers are deceived in thinking Frebreeze, air fresheners, vacuuming or repainting will take away the smoke inhalants which are microns in size and unable to be evacuated after accumulating in a room.3. Potions of the floors were slightly dirty upon arrival. Corners, base boards, were missed, some floors felt sandy or dusty.

Weekend tournament

We had an excellent stay this weekend. The location was great & the rooms were very comfortable. My daughter had a volleyball tournament at the owa facility, which was just a 6 minute drive

Great experience

This is the perfect locati9n. 5 minutes from OWA and right behind a publix and walmart for quick access to anything you need. Several restaraunts within a quick 5 minute drive. The accommodations were great and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Memorial service trip

In general the property was nice. We were in town for a memorial celebration so we weren’t at the condo very much. Only there to sleep at night and have breakfast.

Sandy beds

It appeared clean but both made beds were sandy and towels were well worn- washed but old. Door didn’t work (code) when we came back on second night late but owner answered the phone and it was resolved.

Really good experience, however; the ONLY advice I would like to recommend is that but thicker towels. ALL of the towels had blonde hair tangle on them.

Nice Place

Property was as listed, Communication with the host was no problem, overall really nice place to stay, great location if you're in town for a softball tournament as we were only minutes to the Foley Sports Complex. Would've rated five star but we did find a few hairs on the bathroom linens, and there was a slight musty odor when you first walked in. But overall nice place, and no issues that would prevent us from staying again.
