My name is Andrés, and I have been welcoming visitors to Monteverde for many years. I love sharing this incredible part of Costa Rica with travelers from around the world and helping them discover everything that makes it so special.

My wife and I designed and built Amalú as a passion project inspired by our love for nature, architecture, and unique travel experiences. We wanted to create spaces where guests could relax, disconnect from their busy lives, and enjoy the beauty of the cloud forest in comfort and privacy.

As a host, I enjoy helping guests make the most of their stay by sharing local recommendations, hidden gems, and favorite activities. Whether you're visiting Monteverde for adventure, wildlife, or simply to unwind, my goal is to help create an unforgettable experience for you and your family.

What we love most about the neighborhood is the peaceful atmosphere and the incredible scenery. Guests can enjoy breathtaking sunsets, panoramic views of the mountains and Pacific Ocean, and the sounds of nature all around them. It's common to spot colorful birds, butterflies, and other wildlife right from the property.
