Regarding the smell you mentioned, we’d like to clarify for future guests that the home does not have a musty odor due to moisture — in fact, we have a high-capacity dehumidifier running in the house. What you may have noticed is the natural scent of the wood, as the home is 100% wooden, which is part of the charm and character of the space. As for the scorpions: while we fumigate regularly and take all necessary precautions, we are located in the heart of nature, where sightings of insects or small creatures are sometimes inevitable — especially in a tropical environment. That said, we try to respond as quickly as possible and offered a free re-cleaning of the house at no cost, but the family kindly declined. We deeply value our guests’ comfort and are always available to help with anything during a stay. Thank you again for staying with us, and we wish you all the best on your future travels.
