Hoot Owl est une maison de cèdre occidentale contemporaine avec une proue avant tout de verre donnant sur une prairie de 5 acres, ruisseau, et Rich Mountain.
Hoot Owl est une maison confortable et bien équipée ... pas un autre l'emporte-pièce, sosie, bande-down logement locatif. Il est décoré avec goût avec des œuvres d'art locales, des antiquités, nouveau salon et un mobilier de chambre à coucher principale, et des équipements pratiques pour le voyageur éclairé. Notre décor unique reflète la beauté naturelle et la sérénité du cadre de montagne. Nos clients sont surpris de constater les nombreux extras qui rendent Hoot Owl vraiment sentir comme une maison loin de la maison.
Le niveau principal dispose d'une cuisine / séjour / combinaison spacieuse, salle à manger ouverte avec plafond cathédrale, cheminée et grandes baies vitrées. Deux chambres de charme et une salle de bain complète avec puits de lumière complètent le niveau principal.
A l'étage, la chambre principale ouverte loft dispose d'un lit queen, plus un circa années 1800 traîneau lit de repos unique. Un bain de jardin de luxe est à côté, avec une lucarne et un jacuzzi entouré de plantes tropicales.
Laissez vos animaux errent sur le pont ou pré enveloppante fermée. Profitez d'un verre de vin dans le pavillon privé. Écoutez les hiboux tard dans la nuit. Et profitez de notre terrasse privée près de la crique. Cet espace naturel est le terrain de jeu idéal pour les enfants et les animaux de compagnie!

Booked this home because of its proximity to a wedding venue. It is a lovely property, and since I was preparing a wedding cake I REALLY, REALLY appreciated the spacious and well stocked kitchen. The hosts could not have been nicer, and our family truly enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was in a good location, tucked away from a busy area, but close enough for a scenic drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Plenty of room for a group of people and very accommodating.

The perfect cabin
Our stay at the Owl's Hoot was wonderful. Very clean with everything one would need. They thought of everything. Wonderful decks to enjoy nature. What i liked the most, it was easy to get to and from, yet so very quiet and peaceful.

Hôte : Myra Southern and Rob Wright, Owners/Managers
Myra and Rob are pleased to offer our family cabin, which has been in Myra’s family since it was built in 1992. Rob and I met several years ago, hiking in the Smokies, one of many outdoor activities we enjoy. We were married in the meadow at Owl’s Hoot Chalet in April 2012. We live in nearby Maryville and seek every opportunity to “work” at Owl’s Hoot.
When we’re not renovating and managing our homes, Rob and I enjoy travelling, gardening, movies, cooking and eating, arts and crafts, live music, and adoring our grandkids. Our family includes a Blue Heeler and a Mountain Cur/Blue Heeler mix (both rescues), who love to play in the Owl’s Hoot meadow!
When we’re not renovating and managing our homes, Rob and I enjoy travelling, gardening, movies, cooking and eating, arts and crafts, live music, and adoring our grandkids. Our family includes a Blue Heeler and a Mountain Cur/Blue Heeler mix (both rescues), who love to play in the Owl’s Hoot meadow!

I (Myra) grew up in nearby Maryville, and my family has a long history in and deep love for Townsend. My mom, Jo Hendren, founded Hideaway Cottages and Log Cabins in 1979—providing the very first rental cabin in Townsend. She and my stepdad later bought 20 acres in the same mountain hollow to save it from being sold to a strip-mall developer. They divided the property into 11 lots, restricted the design and placement of cabins to preserve the ecological setting of the hollow, and built Owl’s Hoot Chalet on one of the lots in 1992. I helped my mom manage Hideaway Cottages for several years. They eventually sold the business but kept Owl's Hoot in the family, with Myra and Rob managing it since 2013.
We also own 3 lots next to Owl's Hoot Chalet to preserve the land and ensure seclusion for our guests. We also own a small long-term rental on the same road. We do business as Smokies Cabins. Find us on the web for more information.

Spices, locally ground gourmet coffee, and tea; detergents, cleaning supplies, ample paper products; organic, eco-friendly, spa-grade toiletries; and area resource books, novels, games, and puzzles. We have encased all box springs, mattresses, and pillows in bed bug, allergen protective covers. Just think of all the things you don't have to bring or buy or worry about. Now that's value!

In 2013 Rob and I took over the management of Owl’s Hoot, which had been managed by two other local management companies, because they didn’t meet our standards for cleanliness and maintenance. We’re always making improvements, but you can count on this: Owl’s Hoot Chalet will be clean, very comfortable, and better appointed than most Townsend cabins. All that, in a relaxing setting with beautiful views.
