Belle maison d'hôtes calme et pittoresque Port scène! Droite sur le chemin de la ville avec 30 secondes de marche à l'eau et l'utilisation de la plage privée. Lumineux, ensoleillé et grande salle avec portes coulissantes en verre sur la terrasse en bois plein sud. Vues de Stage Harbor de la grande salle et d'un balcon. Acier inoxydable cuisine applianced équipé avec tout ce que vous avez besoin. Grandes chambres et salle de bains principale avec jacuzzi 2 personne! 1er étage: une chambre avec un lit king-size. 2ème chambre étage dispose d'un lit Queen et deux lits. (S'il vous plaît noter que nous ne fournissons pas les draps.) TV, magnétoscope et lecteur DVD dans den bas et petite télé dans la chambre à l'étage. Douche extérieure et barbecue à gaz, ainsi que d'un petit porche en face de l'Ouest pour une place de lecture tranquille. Venez vous détendre dans ce coin tranquille de Chatham!
Un endroit parfait pour une escapade en famille - la plage privée est calme et parfait pour les petits enfants ou tout simplement se détendre et lire. Chatham est une merveilleuse ville pittoresque avec des boutiques, des restaurants et la marche pittoresque. Nous sommes sur le vélo route panoramique par Stage Harbor et à environ un mile à pied au centre-ville, l'étang Oyster et lumière de Chatham.

This place is an absolute gem. It is just steps from a beautiful little beach where you can launch a kayak and explore Stage Harbor and the waters around Chatham. The location could not be better: close enough to downtown Chatham to enjoy everything it has to offer, but just far enough away that you do not have to deal with the crowds and parking headaches.Although it is described as a guest house, that really does not do it justice. If someone had told me it was its own standalone Cape house, I would have completely believed them. It feels spacious, private, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. The beautiful wide-plank floors give it so much character, the nautical touches throughout are charming without being overdone, and all of the amenities are excellent. The upstairs bedroom is enormous and makes the house feel even more spacious.One of our favorite features was the quiet, private outdoor shower. After spending the day kayaking or being out on the water, coming back and taking an outdoor shower was wonderful and felt quintessentially Cape Cod.The owner is also incredibly caring and attentive and clearly takes great pride in making sure guests are comfortable and have everything they need. The whole property feels welcoming, exceptionally well cared for, and much more substantial than the words “guest house” suggest.12/10 with beach just steps away, easy access to Stage Harbor, proximity to downtown Chatham, peaceful setting, beautiful interior and great owners!

We will stay again - we highly recommend this property. Our kids especially enjoyed the private beach that is a short walk from the house. Karen is quick to respond.

Great location!

We try to come to Chatham every summer and this is one of our favorite house locations so far. Convenient to Main St, close to the water, and quiet. The layout of the house is great and we love the deck. Karen is a great host!

AMAZING PLACE!!

The pictures of this house do not do it justice! The house is beautiful, welcoming & full of light. The owners are wonderful people who were extremely responsive & the location can’t be beat! Fantastic place for a family of four or five. I only wish we could have stayed longer!!

Home away from home

Fantastic place to stay! Great location. Many accommodations in the house, and everything is decorated beautifully. The added features, such as the private beach and games and toys, make the house even more excellent. The host is very responsive and helpful. Our whole family loves it.

Even better than description

An awesome house on a great property. The access to the private beach is what I was excited about and it exceeded all expectations. So much so that we barely went to other beaches and it was a quick walk to jump in the water and refresh. Great part of town too. Will try to come back next year!

Another great year!

We stay in this house every summer - it’s been so many summers in a row that I have lost count! It’s the perfect house and perfect location for us. Steps from the water (and a view of it), close to town, and Karen is the best - super friendly and responsive. Already booked again for next year! If you are looking for a comfortable and cozy place with a glimpse of the water and the convenience of being close to town, this is your place!

Relaxing Cape Getaway

The cottage had everything we needed so we just had to think about the important things: long walks on beaches—besides the charming private beach at the cottage—Nauset beach among others is a short drive away; long hours reading in the many cozy nooks and doing jigsaw puzzles—they along with games are in great supply ; leisurely brunches and deciding what to have for dinner—the kitchen was beautifully equipped for fixing delicious meals. Karen’s cottage was so very peaceful and well appointed, it provided the perfect atmosphere for relaxation.

Relaxing, and peaceful stay,

2020 was a very stressful year for the entire world. Our family lives in 3 States and we were waiting for the moment ALL of us would be fully vaccinated to finally meet for the first time in a year! We were in search of the perfect place on the Cape to meet up and spend quality time together! We were very fortunate to discover Karen’s lovely vacation home. It’s charming nautical theme immediately put us in a vacation mood! The private beach was a bonus to sit and stare at the stars. Karen is a wonderful and very responsive host. I would recommend this place to my friends.

Perfect Location and Great for a Family or 2 Couples

This house is in a wonderful location of Chatham, a short walk to the harbor for beautiful morning/afternoon walks. A great neighborhood to run or walk around and you can bike to town or to the beaches, light house, fish pier, bike path, etc. The house is very comfortable - large master bedroom, well appointed kitchen, comfortable living room - all nicely maintained. The owner is responsive and easy to communicate with. The few things to know are: the house is extremely close to the main house on the property, so not much privacy if the other people are around, the basement humidifier runs constantly and can be heard in the master bedroom all night, you need to bring all linens, bath towels, kitchen towels and we needed to buy paper towels and sponges for the kitchen. The Chatham Village Market is very close and a good place to shop. We would actually give it a 4.5, but since we can't, we'll go for the 5 stars since we had such a nice time there!

Thank you for your review an feedback! We have replaced one of the humidifiers (they have to run all the time with the high amount of humidity on the Cape) so they should not be as loud. Feel free to reach out should you like to stay again in the future!

Our family has had a summer home in Chatham since my grandfather bought a vacation home here back in the 50's - before Route 6 existed! We built our home in 2006 and love to come relax and get away at the house. A morning or sunset walk on the beach, dinner at The Impudent Oyster, a visit to the Wellfleet Flea Market - all are great activities we enjoy when we are at the house. We can provide lots of recommendations for other things to do and places to explore on the Cape.
