Literally the perfect place to stay

If I ever come back to Slidell, I will always stay here. It was perfect and a beautiful area. The owner was great to communicate with! Probably the best short term rental I have ever stayed at!

Family Friendly

Perfect getaway to stay outside of the city. Host is very quick to respond. Beautiful home and neighborhood, great little park down the street. Pond out back if great for morning coffee! We will be back!

Great place with tranquil view

The house was great. Very cozy and the view over the pond with the birds flying in was so peaceful. Perfect for a family, easy location very convienent to Nola and Slidell. Playgrounds in the neighborhood are awesome too. Host was excellent! Will be back for sure!

Wonderful location

Area is very quiet and view of the lake is amazing! Loved having coffee in the morning on the porch. Beds where comfortable and linens where all clean. Lots of space! Only thing I felt was missing was a personalized listing for local restaurants, or things to do. If back in the area would definitely stay here again!

We found the property to be very clean and spacious. We appreciated having the washer and dryer. The neighborhood was very quiet and has great sidewalks for walking.

Exactly as it appears!

The house was lovely, and the host was very easy to work with. The property was clean, comfortable and the decor was very nice. It was in a great location for everything on our agenda. Getting to watch the ducks in the lake out front while having our morning coffee was an added bonus.

The rental house.

Overall the house was nice and spacious. It fits 5 people comfortably. Nice to stay in for a couple of days. It was presented well. In a nice area that felt safe.

The pictures did no justice, the location was more beautiful than expected! The Host was sweet and responsive! Definitely will be back in a week or two

The Great Escape

This house is well kept and comfortable. Every morning I was able to enjoy the lake and watch wildlife before starting my day. I personally liked the distance from the city, even though it was 30min away, it was an easy trek - all highway. Thank you for sharing your place with us during a memorable time of year - Mardi Gras!

Absolutely Wonderful

Family trip, including my 92-year old mother, and two children in their twenties. Location was beautiful. Lots of ducks and geese. Nice porch to enjoy the lake (and ducks and geese). Three bedrooms, meant everyone had their own bed. Also had use of the two car garage which was a huge plus for us. Had a little trouble gaining access to home when we arrived, but Stephanie was quick to help us get inside. A/C worked great. Plenty of towels and sheets. Great experience. Were extremely happy with the property and being able to be all together in one home. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Advised host 4 days prior to stay that we were concerned about incoming weather. After watching weather channel it was decided that we didn’t want to take a chance . Shared Weather Channel information . Host indicated that she had a strict cancellation policy even after sharing our justification for not arriving. Host didn’t issue any refund even after providing the weather channel information. The four other families also traveling hosts refunded portions of their 1,220 due to information provided and showed some GRACE. She didn’t even want to allow us to reserve monies for future trip. Truly understand cancellation policies, but what happens to common decency when link to weather channel showed justification. There are always extenuating circumstances.
