Preston Hollow in between Home

Located in the heart of Preston Hollow right off Midway, this chic 1950's bungalow is perfect for you! Please note, this is an older home, 1,300 square feet with the bedrooms on the smaller side.

The space:
Walk in and you are in the quaint living room that opens to the kitchen and dinette that looks out at the huge yard. Three bedrooms are on the right off the hall.

A few notes about the property:

- The lawn care team mows every other week so you may see them on an early Friday morning to mow the front and back yard.

- Trash day is every Friday so might see my property manager wheeling the trash cans out to the curb on Thursday or Friday morning. If you are on a long-term stay (longer than 5 days) please wheel out the trash cans to the curb on Thursday evening for Friday morning trash pick-up.

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. 15 min from Addison, uptown/downtown, and 5 min from Inwood/Lovers area. Central market is just around the corner.

The house was in such a great neighborhood. Felt completely safe. The beds were very comfortable, the bath soap was outstanding and the host was so good at communicating. She checked in with me during my stay to make sure I had what I needed. I would stay here again.

The location was ideal for our needs, and Lara was a very communicative and responsive host throughout our stay.That said, the listing photos didn’t fully reflect the home’s current condition. The second bathroom, which wasn’t pictured, is quite small, and the shower did not drain properly, leaving standing water and requiring us to use the other bathroom. Overall, the house felt much older and more worn than it appeared in the photos.Since we were primarily using the space just to sleep, it worked fine for our purposes. However, given the condition relative to the price, I personally wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Hi Libby, thank you for your feedback. Our listing does mention that this is a charming 1950s home to help set expectations regarding its vintage character. Regarding the drainage, I had a plumber inspect the shower immediately following your stay, and it is functioning perfectly. Our current guests have also confirmed they are having no issues. To ensure total transparency, I have added more photos of the second bathroom so future guests can see the layout clearly before booking. I take great pride in our 3-year track record of positive guest experiences (yours being the first negative one) and appreciate the opportunity to clarify these points.

Christmas at the cottage

Christmas in Dallas was relaxing and fun at this charming home. Everything was perfect and cozy. We had our son and wife staying here with us as this was home base for our holiday visit. We plan to stay here again.
