Our apartment is in the Central Park neighborhood. The neighborhood is east of Downtown Denver, which was formerly known as Stapleton. The neighborhood is in Central Park, one of Denver's largest parks, with eighty acres of urban hiking trails, a big playground, and beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. Central Park is known as one of the best neighborhoods to stay in when visiting Denver since the area boasts a connected community, local and national businesses, green space, and entertainment options. The Regional Transportation District (RTD) has a stop at Montview Blvd & Kingston St, which is only a short 15-20 minute walk from our apartment that you can take to Union Station, which will place you in the heart of Downtown Denver. Central Park includes a recreation center, the Denver Public Library – Sam Gary Branch, business centers, and art installations visitors enjoy.

very clean and convenient to Children's Hospital
Our visit to Denver was for appointments at Children's Hospital and this VRBO location was perfect. About 10 minutes away on surface streets. There's a grocery nearby and a big playground on MLK about a mile away. For one adult and one child it was plenty big. The kitchen had pots and pans and dishes, but no food staples (salt, pepper, oil) like you often find left behind in VRBOs, so if you plan on cooking, you'll need to provide those.

The rental was very comfortable and Vacation Rental Collective were very responsive hosts. The only thing that was tricky was carrying very heavy suitcases down the basement stairs and also navigating around the front of the owner's cars in the garage with the heavy suitcases. Overall it was very comfortable and just like the pictures & a great location & neighbourhood!

Thank you for your feedback. The listing does include that this is a basement apartment in the very first line of the description, so I apologize if you were thrown off. I'm sorry you were having issues with the coffee maker. We had asked you for details so that we could help troubleshoot but never received a response. We have confirmed that the coffee maker works just fine so should not be an issue in the future. Thank you for letting us know of the slow drain as this is the first we've heard of it. We will be sure to get that addressed asap!
