Well maintained 100 year old historic home. Convenient to all that Decatur has to offer. Large wooded lot with quiet backyard offered a relaxing stay.

Lovely residence with historic registration. It is comfortable and well appointed with good flow for company. The street is busy, but there is a nice yard with ample parking inside the perimeter. Good neighborhood for walking and/or running. Great eateries nearby and close to downtown Decatur. Walking distance to Agnes Scott College.

Perfect!

My daughters and I enjoyed our stay at the cottage. So comfortable and clean. The perfect place for our recent staycation in Atlanta. We loved sharing meals in the kitchen and working puzzles in the sunny den. Hope to return soon.

We had the best time at this home. We would definitely stay again if we were back in the area. The house was described exactly as described in the listing. Communication with the property manager was great and the house was spectacular. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Perfect Home for our Stay!

I booked this house for my son's wedding in Decatur. It was the PERFECT home for the event - we previously lived in Decatur on Clairemont Ave so this house brought back so many wonderful memories. Beautiful interior and exterior for first-look and pre-wedding photos. Talia was quick to respond if I had any questions and she made our stay flawless. Don't hesitate to stay at this fabulous home - wonderful location - and a beautiful Decatur historic home!

A wonderful place to recover

We were in Atlanta on short notice as my daughter who was the list for a kidney transplant at Piedmont I, her mother was there to be with her during surgery and during her recovery We did not have a lot of time to research, we were at a hotel first and my son in law found this place How lucky were we the house was absolutely beautiful and as my daughter said like a luxury spa. The back screened porch was a healing haven . But more importantly the kindness and compassion from Talia and her team was above and beyond. My daughter had multiple complications and I needed to extend my visit a few times and they worked with us every step of the way, with no pressure, as we were not sure of a final date .Not having that worry allowed me to focus on my daughter. They really cared about making our family comfortable during this stressful time. Although we did not get to enjoy much of Decatur, we did enjoy some great restaurants I can’t say enough about this fabulous place

Lovely Historic Home

The inside of this home is absolutely wonderful! It's spotless clean, spacious and has super comfortable beds & a well appointed kitchen & baths. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely & we felt completely safe. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the exterior of the home. The outside is definitely in need of a little maintenance. There are two large planters that have collapsed & spilled dirt all around, the white lanterns are all tattered & torn and several were strewn about the yard, a string of lights was falling down around the firepit, and the rocker on the back porch has a broken seat so not comfy to sit in. We also found dirty diapers around the outdoor trash bin when we arrived. All that being said...the INSIDE of this home is AMAZING! I only tell these things because we were a little shocked and concerned UNTIL we walked inside. It was nearly 100* during our stay so we didn't spend much time outside anyway so it worked perfectly for our stay. We went to several restaurants and coffee shops downtown & in Oakhurst and all were only a few minutes drive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The historic cottage has character and charm. I loved the high ceilings, beautiful hardwood floors and large windows. The back porch is very nice. I enjoyed sitting there reading and watching the wildlife in the back yard. And the yard is amazing. It is a great size and seems like your own little nature preserve in the middle of the city. We saw numerous types of birds, lots of squirrels, fireflies and the highlight was the 3 owls that we saw often. It really was enchanting. We brought our dog with us and the property was perfect for her. The home is very close to downtown Decatur so there is plenty to do. The neighborhood is very nice. It is great for walking, jogging and walking your dog. The road is pretty loud but that just comes with the territory. The host was very nice. She left some thoughtful welcoming gifts and stayed in touch throughout our stay. It was a great experience. Highly recommend!
