This lovely cottage style home boasts charm and charisma. Single story beauty situated on a large corner lot with a picturesque setting and framed by 2 gorgeous trees!! Amazing large porch to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. Spacious full kitchen and dining area. Master features a Queen-sized bed and private attached bathroom equipped with an extended walk-in shower and walk-in closet. Built-in Queen-sized Murphy Bed in second bedroom. Perfect family-friendly floor plan, custom bricked landscaping/flower beds, Washer/Dryer also included!

Wedding weekend

Attended a wedding in Kyle. This place was just right. We had family members who came over for a short visit and having them visit with us in a cozy house was much better than a cold uninviting hotel!

This is a good place to stay if you would like to visit Austin as well as San Marcos. Right in the middle and only short drives

I would not recommend this property. While the location was great for us, this house is worn down and lacks some basic amenities. The photos were clearly done with staging furniture- nothing like what is really there. The master shower doesn’t drain so there is a lot of mold build up. The yard is not at all pet friendly - no gate and full of poop. The house also lacks some simple things like an iron. The towels were like leftovers from a college dorm. Junk in the garage - random couch, broken mirror, Christmas wrapping paper, etc. I do appreciate that the host was communicative but this house needs some basic work to get to VRBO levels. Very disappointing.

Good stay

The house was generally fine and in a nice neighbourhood. Would not describe the yard as pet friendly, there was plenty of old animal waste in the yard and it was not the cleanest of properties. The furniture (couch, chairs, beds) were not all that comfortable and did not care for the showers. On the pro side the house was near good places to eat and close enough to the highway so it was easy to get from the neighbourhood to where we needed to go.

There were a lot of perks about the location. We were close to everything. The house itself needed some decorations to feel more homely.Could use some more plates, bowls, etc.. This house has a shared yard, which was not described accurately in the posting. The house was really adorable is very spacious.

The property was awesome and really close to my folks' house. I would recommend you bring your own pillows. The beds were plenty comfy as well. The sheets were microfiber and there were plenty of blankets. There were plenty of towels. The master shower is tricky but tall. We really had an amazing time. There is an ice maker in the freezer. Not a lot of glasses or spoons, but forks work for ice cream. There is plenty of room for your pupper, nice porch areas too.

This was the worst VRBO property we've ever stayed in. The host was not available for anything until she realized she screwed up. Not available when we needed to change our dates, didn't send over the access information and couldn't be reached by the VRBO agent when we arrived. Took 20 min for the agent to find a code from the previous stay. NOTHING about this property was as listed in the pictures. She changed out all the furniture and left the bare minimum which was old, dirty & damaged, it was dirty with black mold in the both showers, missing smoke detector, missing and burned out light bulbs everywhere, broken and missing towel and toilet paper racks in both bathrooms, broken mirror that was left in the garage, the master shower didn't drain at all, the dishwasher smelled like sewer, dirty coffee machine, floors were disgusting, broken trashcan, and a load of towels was just left in the washer; wet. No hand towels or tissues in the bathrooms and we bought a new skillet to cook our eggs bc of how bad the other one was. I messaged her about all of this stating and how angry we were and she gave me a list of excuses why it wasn't as listed saying that she hadn't been out to the property in over 2 months blaming the cleaning crew. She tried to overnight a spray for the black mold that she thought WE were supposed to take care of. She stated she would take the listing down to fix everything after we left. Dishonest and irresponsible, and way below my standards when i book.

The positive is the size and location. Close to businesses and expressway. Check in and out was easy. There is a good amount of space for a medium size group. The negatives were the lack of basic essentials. It’s always my thought that if you are renting a place with a kitchen there should be some basic cooking items. While the pots and pans are there, just realize you will need to purchase cooking spray and things of that sort. Not that big of deal, but in my opinion with house rentals it’s standard. The house is a bit disorganized though, kitchen cupboards with towels and sheets in them(even though there is ample space in bedroom closets). The front closet had things just piled on the floor. Two bedrooms missing closet doors completely and no dressers in any of the bedrooms so we just laid our suitcases on the floor. The furniture is also a little rough, very worn. There was also an old couch in the garage that made it a little tight getting in and out. When we went to the pool the key card did not work. Another resident came along and told us it means we didn’t pay our HOA fees and they shut our card off. Then we had to explain we were renting for the weekend and not an actual resident, needless to say an uncomfortable situation. The house has great potential as a rental, but the needs to be a little more effort put in.

We were disappointed with our stay, especially given the price we paid and the expectations set by the listing. Unfortunately, the condition of the home did not match what we anticipated.The floors were sticky, the pillows and bedding were discolored, and much of the furniture and décor felt very old and dated. All of the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the master bed appeared to be broken. My mom ended up sleeping on the couch. Several maintenance issues also stood out, including a broken microwave handle, broken kitchen garbage can, broken toilet paper holder, and ceiling fans that either thumped loudly or only worked with the light on. Water pressure in the shower was very low and the drain did not work properly, causing water to pool.Basic amenities were also lacking. There were no hand towels in the bathrooms, the towels provided were old and mismatched, and the iron listed in the amenities was not available. The kitchen cupboards were also packed with random items, leaving little usable space.The outdoor area also needed attention, with broken furniture, clutter, animal waste present, and overflowing garbage.Overall, the property could benefit from significant cleaning, repairs, and updates to better match the price and expectations for a vacation rental.
