Welcome to our smoke-free and pet-free 2,000+ square-foot lake home, a fully furnished getaway in Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina. Enjoy a serene escape with stunning sunset views and still plan visits to larger cities like Wilmington, North Carolina, or Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The place is well equipped for long-term stays as well as short-term rentals. It features three bedrooms and two full baths, and you can move with ease from one room to the next. The living room has vaulted ceilings and direct access to the kitchen. The spacious and bright eat-in kitchen boasts large lighted countertops, a gas stove, a bar with seating, a pantry, and loads of cabinet space, making cooking a breeze!

★ Only 2 minutes (0.3 m) to the B & GH Equestrian Center. Also, Ambassador and Anchorage Christian camps.

★It is under an hour from Wilmington and numerous beaches, including Brunswick County, Southport, Ocean Isle, and Myrtle Beach.

This was a great house with plenty of space. While it is not on the water, it is conveniently located. Huge deck out back and plenty of space in every room. Our host was very easy to communicate with and she was very responsive.

Wedding weekend stay with family!

We found this home to be ideal for our family of 5 adults for the weekend of our niece’s wedding. The house was roomy and comfortable with spaces for everyone. We did not do any cooking because we were at wedding events the entire weekend, so I can’t say much about how well equipped the kitchen was from that POV but the house was clean and comfortable and the host was very hospitable and I felt like if we needed anything she would very readily accommodate. I would highly recommend Hollingsworth for a weekend stay if visiting Lake Waccamaw or Whiteville. It was located about 50 minutes from Southport and 45 minutes to Leland. Whiteville was about 20 minutes from the house.

Roomy and spotless!

My work team needed three bedrooms for a quick stay between workshops in different cities. We weren’t there long but the bedrooms were all a nice size and the beds were very comfortable. It’s located in a nice, quiet neighborhood just about a block from Lake Waccamaw. The communication from the owner was timely and comprehensive. Check in and out was a breeze!

Great location and extremely comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. The host was great to deal with and very responsive with all communications. The house was perfect for our family of 4, with a plenty of room and a spot to work remotely. Everything was very comfortable and well equipped. The decor was lovely. We will definitely plan to stay here again the next time we are in Lake Waccamaw!

Great family stay

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, super close to the camp our kids went to, easy walk to the lake. House was clean and we loved the open feel of it. Very nice front and back yard for the kids to play in as well.

There really aren't any words to express how amazing this house is. We throughly enjoyed our peaceful, restful week here. Mrs. Charlotte is the most gracious host. She made sure we had everything we needed. I like that she cleaned the house herself to make sure it was done right.
