Getaway

It was a beautiful, clean and quiet stay. It was so peaceful and definitely recommend staying here! We came for a wedding from Wilmington and it was nice to enjoy the time away.

It was clean and very cozy. Quiet area. And the owners have OUTSTANDING communication. When i needed to ask a question about something, it was answered quickly. The place is on well water which I know nothing about...good thing my husband clarified some things for me. Our stay was cut ahort due to weather and the owner was super nice. We will stay again when we come back to Whiteville.

Quick family hunting trip

Had a fun quick trip to Whiteville to see some family and hunt. This place worked out perfect, great location close to my cousins. Beautiful property in the middle of fields. Everything was comfortable and as advertised. Thank you very much

Alisha’s wedding stay

This little house was so cute and absolutely perfect. My daughter got married at Pine Log Plantation so this house was the perfect location. The house was warm wonderful and so charming. It’s small but had everything we needed and it was close to the venue and shopping. I couldn’t have ask for a better place. Thank you!!!

The place was nice and spacious. Everything was nice and clean. Looks just like the photos. It is the country, so we saw a lot of little lizards. Had one in the house, but he didn't bother us so we left it alone.The only thing that we didn't like was the smell from the well water. It was a very strong rotten egg smell. My daughter said it smelled like Nair. I couldn't shower with it. We used bottles of water for hand washing and for brushing our teeth. If that could be improved, I would definitely stay again.

Another nice spring break from our Northeast Weather

The place was just like it was described on the VRBO site.The host was excellent. We did have a issue with the AC which was taken care of immediately. (Thank you Edie)The property was just as described, perfect if your looking for some peace and quiet.There were plenty of restaurantsto chose from in nearby Whiteville. (Anthony's Italian restaurant was our favorite)We did make several trips to Myrtle Beach which just over an hour away. (The legend show was really good this year)If we decide to come back to this area again next year we would love to stay here again.

Unique location surrounded by cornfields. Very private secluded location. Automatic outside lighting at night. Firepit with picnic area included outside. State of the art kitchen area and cooking facilities. Washer/dryer inside. Common area big screen TV and seating with WI-FI. Master bedroom big screen TV and adjoining bathroom. I loved the 2 additional bedrooms with common bathroom. Every amenity worked perfectly. Dishes, coffeemaker cookware and silverware were all included. Handicapped ramp included for easy entry and exit. I loved the screened porch out front. Looking forward to coming back for another visit. Excellent value for the money. Kudos to the owner for a great offering It was Joy go live

Being from Whiteville I spent a great deal of my childhood and early adult years in the area. My grandparents had built the brick home in front and family members lived in the home you will stay in. Such great memories of the area and the home. It is important to share that with others.
I enjoy hosting a home that people can enjoy when they can't be in their own home. The need love, laughter and life in them. Our guests are able to bring that to our home when we can't be there. That is a priceless gift that we cherish!

The home is minutes from the hustle and bustle of town, but feels like you are worlds away. The beautiful sunsets and sunrises, the birds chirping and feel of serenity and peace that helps the body & mind rejuvenate.

The home has 3 bedrooms. The third bedroom is a flex room with desk for work space or extra sleeping space. Primary bathroom has spacious walk in shower, closets are set up for your clothing and it is equipped with ramp for those who have some mobility issues.
