We didn’t want to leave. The condo was clean and had easy access to everything: the beach, pool, elevators, and parking lot. It was the perfect place for me to relax and celebrate my birthday. I truly enjoyed myself and would definitely stay here again!

Really amazing unit!

The master room near the balcony has nice roll down shades but is not a blackout shade, and we enjoyed waking up gently with the sunlight. The second room stays very dark for sleeping in. Cooking supplies are well stocked and closet has some umbrellas, sand toys and boogie boards. Wrap around balcony is great! 5th floor view. also, beach access is so easy. the condo had an elevator very near this corner unit and carts to help unload luggage and groceries. very clean. Would stay again!

Management

While staying here was absolutely beautiful, amazing view, and very clean! BUT my only complaint is the COMMUNICATION, it was terrible. We drove 8 hours and when we got there at check in time, they said the room hasn’t been clean yet and that we were not even on the books, even tho I have all confirmed bookings and they even took my 3,000, it was a mess, after calling the VRBO management team and dealing with the front desk trying to see what went wrong. VRBO never let them know that we booked the place. Not to mention the lady at the front desk was very rude, as I was just asking her what needs to be done. As this condo was amazing, I will not be back just because of the terrible communication.

Love this place. It was my father's 95th Birthday. He loves the water. He uses a walker so the condo was fine for the purposes of getting around. The sand in front of the condo is firm enough for him to walk around a little (drove down to the beach).

This was an older condo and could stand updating. Dishwasher didn't work and second bath had shower door off track. My son fixed that. That being said, the view of the Gulf!

Beach vibes

Incredible views! Wall to wall windows!! Only thing is if you want see outside, you have to wipe the windows down from the outside to remove sand & moisture with a damp cloth. But that would not stop us from staying there again. You’re on the beach! A corner room!! The entire place was beautiful, clean, comfortable and welcoming. We will be back.

Extraordinary

The views are perfect! It was windy when we were there so the two sided balcony gave us an opportunity to stay out of the wind and enjoy being outside listening to the waves. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and the showers were nice and hot with great water pressure. Very close to shopping and dining. The pool is spotless and 7 feet deep! We will definitely stay here when we come again.

Perfect Gettaway!

What a gorgeous spot! The view from the floor to ceiling windows was fabulous - the beach is terrific and a joy to take those morning hikes or jump in for an afternoon swim. If is it chilly, the pool is sheltered and VERY WARM. The kitchen is well equipped and perfect for eating in - a great place to stay for a true unplugged experience.

And, while we did not use the hall shower, there was a lot of mold. It's time for some updates to this condo.

And the beach wasn’t over crowded either bc we went after the whole tropical storm Beryl fiasco.

A bit dissapointed

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were asked to change reservations at the last minute because our original condo wasn't available through Padre Escapes. The condo we received was extremely dated. The ceilings were yellow and the the wallpaper was peeling from the walls. The kitchen did not include enough dishes and cookware to house 6 people, either. I was disappointed to say the least. We requested a portable bed and it took two phone calls and 4 hours to get it. We had to wash our own towels because housekeeping at the complex wouldn't do it for us and that wasn't explained well. The view was amazing, the condo however was less than desirable. Won't likely rent from Padre Escapes anytime in the future.

This unit does not disappoint as you have a water view from just about every room in the condo. The unit is very clean and has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely rent this condo again. Also the property at Gulfstream is very nice, they have a wonderful pool and hot tub and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The smart TV wasn’t able to access my own YouTube or movie account (3 star situation).
