The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Its close to Starved Rock so a perfect alternative to a hotel.

Perfect for starved rock

You will be a bit sketched out from the outside but when you go in it’s a totally different feeling it looks amazing in there, the ac was amazing, simple instructions on a sheet for check out. We all went to starved rock which is around 20ish min away and it was very worth will definitely go again

Convenient

We stayed for several days while hiking Starved Rock. Pros:-the space was pretty clean-the beds were very comfortable -there were sufficient dishes for basic cooking-the location was convenient -it was quiet other than the intermittent train noisesCons:-we did not receive check in information until we asked for it (the host was responsive after that though!)-we were given exactly enough linens for the two of us (e.g. 2 bath towels and 4 washcloths). -the dishes for meals were sparse (e.g. 2 plates, 3 cups, 3 forks)-there were no hangers in any closets for our jackets

Quick visit

Chose property because it was advertised as a 2 bedroom two bath. It was only a one bath. Listing has now been changed to be correct. We were told we could cancel, but finding another unit at that point was not going to be convenient. Since it was a single night we made it work. Cute remodel .

Decent jumping-off point to explore Ottawa

It's a nice apartment, cheaply but competently renovated. There were cobwebs around when we arrived but otherwise it was clean. The beds are VERY nice, extremely comfortable which is so important. My biggest gripe, something not demonstrated in the listing, is the fact that the property directly borders an actve train teack, and when i say it's right outside I mean it is RIGHT outside. I was kept up the entire night one of the nights of our stay because of a pair of trains stopping and starting on the tracks causing the whole house to rumble like an earthquake. Nothing to be done about that, just worth mentioning I think. Otherwise, the place is nice and we had a great stay.berumbacausing
