We take guest feedback seriously and are disappointed by this review, as it does not reflect the full context of the stay. First and foremost, we thoroughly investigated the bunk bed issue. While we originally withheld the security deposit for the damage, after reviewing the circumstances, we issued a full refund as a gesture of goodwill—even though the damage did not exist prior to this guest’s stay. Unfortunately, we must also clarify several important lease violations: • The guest signed a rental agreement (a standard practice in our industry), yet did not stay on the property during the reservation, which is a direct breach of that agreement. • Upon check-in review, our team found that the number of occupants far exceeded our maximum occupancy policy, which is grounds for immediate eviction per our terms. We chose not to evict the group in real time out of courtesy. As for our Instagram giveaway, we’re happy to share that our stay giveaway has a confirmed winner, who is already booked for October and excited for their trip. We love giving back to our community and sharing the joy of our space.
