The Space:

Soft breezes drift through the trees as you wander down to the shoreline, where white sand and emerald waters await just two minutes from your door. Afternoons invite you to pedal along scenic trails with the provided bikes, while evenings call you back to a crackling fire pit under a sky filled with stars. Between the nearby beach access, the seasonal community pool, and the comfort of your own fenced backyard, every day here feels both easy and unhurried.



Sleeping arrangements

This retreat comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests across three bedrooms. On the main floor, you’ll find a cozy double bed, a twin bunk, and a queen bed, creating flexible options for families or groups. Upstairs, a private suite offers a king bed and its own ensuite bathroom, giving added space and privacy. With quality linens and comfortable mattresses, each room is designed for restful nights after sun-filled days.



Kitchen & dining

The fully stocked kitchen makes it simple to prepare meals and gather around the table. Cooking basics, a coffee maker, blender, dishwasher, and baking sheet are provided, ensuring you have the tools you need whether you’re making a quick breakfast or a full dinner. The open-plan living and dining areas flow together, offering plenty of space to share meals and conversation.



Outdoor living

Step into the fenced backyard and settle in by the gas grill for an evening cookout or relax around the fire pit as night falls. An outdoor dining area sets the stage for al fresco meals, while the secure space makes it convenient for pets. Out front, mornings on the porch with coffee let you take in the quiet rhythm of the neighborhood before the day begins.



Amenities & extras

The home offers fast WiFi, a large Smart TV, and a dedicated workspace to balance relaxation with connectivity. Four bicycles are available for exploring the paved paths that stretch along the coastline, and guests also have access to a community pool open March through October. Self check-in is easy with a keypad entry system, and free parking is available for up to three vehicles, with trailers, boats, and U-Hauls not permitted. For peace of mind, exterior security cameras and a Ring doorbell are in place.

This was the perfect house for our family of six, plus our golden doodle! The listing was accurate and the house is so nice inside. These are a lot of beautiful small details and updates like art work and beautifully updated bathrooms. The location was perfect and having four bikes included was definitely a wonderful extra. Having a small garage to put beach stuff out of the way was another great extra. The communication with the Property Managment was excellent. We will definitely stay again.

We had an unbelievable week in Santa Rosa, and a great part of that was Sandy Pause. The location was absolutely perfect. The house was cleaner than any unit I have ever stayed in. No sand at all inside the house, which was completely unexpected. Every room was as clean as could be, the check in process was very easy. Nancy is a great host, and very prompt on all communication communications. Spending time in Santa Rosa is a definite for us, and I will definitely be staying here again!

Sandy Pause is such a great, convenient place to stay in Sea Grove. It has all of the amenities needed to make our stay comfortable. Just a short walk to the beach and we love having the pool available when we get tired of the sand. The bikes that come with the stay are a plus and make our trips to Seaside a breeze!!

The property was lovely and very clean. It is right off of the main road which made getting around very easy. We had everything we needed to be comfortable and communication to all my questions was prompt and friendly. I definitely recommend this house!

PERFECTION ACROSS THE BOARD!Location, Gorgeous home, & All Amenities right at your fingertips. We’ve stayed on 30A many times, usually closer to Rosemary Beach which is good for quick highway access to other events. However this home is in a location that is truly hard to beat. You’re one mile from Seaside, three and a half miles from The Big Chill, and three miles from Publix. Restaurants and shopping galore. Super quiet private street with a pool at the end. We had four teens and one young adult with us. They were at the home to eat and sleep and out being ‘kids’ the rest of the time: riding bikes, meeting other teens, beach, and shopping. Super safe and four bikes come with the rental agreement. We will definitely stay here again!

It's quaint, clean and stocked with all the essentials you'd expect, plus there were some nice surprises, like lots of beach goodies in the storage garage and nice wagons for toting it all to the beach. Very nice and comfortable beach house, great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandy Pause. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and was very nicely decorated and comfortable, even nicer than the photos. A fenced backyard was great for our two small dogs and the location was great, a 5 minute walk to the beach with many restaurants near by. The community pool was very nice as well. We will be back!

All the basics, great location

Property had all the basics and was very comfortable. Bikes were included which is great, chairs/umbrellas etc were a bit worn but functional. Great location but the beach area is very very small. It was not busy this week but during spring break and summers I don't know how much space you would have to set up chairs etc. There's also no chair/umbrella service available at the Campbell street entrance. The other public entrance is a bit of a walk and there is little to no parking available most of the day. It is also crazy crowded on the beach and getting in and out of the entrance area. Overall its a great location - easy to bike to Seaside and many restaurants but the beach issue is challenging.

Week-long stay with daughter, son-in-law, 7 month old & 2 dogs. Location was perfect!! House was clean and FELT clean (there’s a difference, ya know). We had an issue with AC and responses to my email/phone call were immediate. Would definitely stay again! Thanks so much!!

Great Getaway

Perfect beach retreat. The house is well equipmented. Great location. Easy beach access across the street. Seaside is close but not too close to the crowds and house is on quiet side street. Would stay hear again.

Owner was quick to respond!!! Location was in 30A & perfectly located near beach. Property is a 10 min bicycle ride to the dune trails & seaside shopping/restaurants. Bike/golf cart shop was literally behind the property!!! I will definitely stay here again!!! Ty!!! 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great Location

Superb location - just cross the street and your at the beach! The 2 story house is comfy, but needs a little updating. The management company is excellent, always ready to help if needed.. Our time at Sandy Pause was lovely.

Very nice and close to beach

This location was perfect. Between Rosemary beach and seaside. We rented bikes (shop was conveniently located behind house). We rode to seaside. Beach was close and walkable. House was so cute and comfortable.
