Playing Hooky is a lovely 3-bedroom home in the heat of Seagrove Beach! With sleeping arrangements for up to 6 guests, proximity to the beach, and access to 2 community pools and a tennis court, Playing Hooky provides a relaxed and convenient stay on 30A for your entire family!

The S. Andalusia Beach access is located directly across 30A from the community entrance. This prime stretch of public beach gives renters plenty of room to enjoy the Gulf Coast!

Nestled in the sought-after community, The Grove by the Sea, positioned at the heart of Seagrove Beach, our location is truly unbeatable. Seaside and a variety of restaurants are just a stroll or bike ride away. Embrace the outdoors with miles of paved bike/walking path right across the street from The Grove's entrance, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of all 30A has to offer. Plus, the public beach walkover awaits directly across 30A from the subdivision's entrance, ensuring convenient access to our white-sand beaches.

Guests are given a unique door code that is active for the duration of their stay.

We respect your privacy but can always assist you with any questions or recommendations.



Parking:

• Parking for 3 Vehicles.

• No Boats, Trailers, or U-Hauls are permitted.

• NO STREET PARKING



House Rules:

• No smoking

• No parties or events

• Must be 25 or older and staying at the property for the entire stay.

• The primary guest is required to sign the Kismet Properties Renter’s Agreement

• The Primary guest is required to upload a copy of their photo ID.

CANCELATION POLICY:

Guest receives 100% (less $250.00 cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 60 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% (less $250.00 cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; No refunds within 30 days of arrival.

Guests are given a unique door code that is active for the duration of their stay.

Great Florida Vacation!

2nd time staying at this property and it was delightful. Great location, nice quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors, beautiful beach right across the street - just a gem of a place. My favorite spot remains the back porch!

Great Location

Really loved this community. Very close to the beach and loved having the bikes to get around. The fenced in backyard was great for our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Kids loved the pool and the beach access and accessibility to the square. Enjoyed the screened in porch in the mornings to sit and have coffee.

Wonderful, clean home.

We had such a wonderful time staying at Playing Hooky. This neighborhood is my favorite because it is quiet and beautiful. We loved that we were able to bring our dog and the fenced in backyard was perfect for the dog and our small children. The property was clean and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The Kismet properties management and team were great to work with and answered all my question quickly and with such kindness. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic property and property management company

First and foremost, Kismet Properties is by far the best property management company I have ever dealt with. Their communication, instructions, helpfulness was amazing. They also make sure their properties are immaculate. Everything was SO CLEAN. We LOVED the house and especially liked the way it was set back from the road and it is so convenient to everything - walking distance to many things including Seaside. The backyard was especially attractive to us as we had our dogs, and being able to let them out first thing in the morning and last thing at night without a leash was wonderful. We will be back again next year!

Loved it!

We really enjoyed our family time the first few days and some quiet time after the kids had to head home. Great location with the beach and plenty of restaurants close by. Hope we get to come back next year!

We absolutely loved staying at this property; a beautiful house, great outdoor seating, easy access to the beach and town. We are already thinking about next year, and hopefully, getting to stay at this house.

Absolutely Beautiful.

Our first impression of Playing Hooky, we walked in the door and the house smelled really nice, everything was spotless, and it was open and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The house was a short bike ride or walk to the beach. We enjoyed time in the screened in porch and out on the patio. We walked our dog around the neighborhood, the walkways were shaded by many trees. 🐶 We had mild temperatures all week and the beaches were not crowded. It was great that there were bikes included in the stay, we rode them everyday. We were all sad to leave. Thank you, Mel D.

Great neighborhood- nice property.

Very nice property in cute little neighborhood. Very convenient to seaside, publix, & beach. Steep steps down from private beach access, but public access has ramp, and is easy bike/walk. Neighborhood lovely quiet refuge on N side 30a, however, multiple crosswalks with low speed traffic makes for safe access to south side & beach/bike paths. Small, completely fenced yard, with seating area is great for children/dogs. 2 pools, w one heated to very pleasant temperature for fall/winter swim (bring robe-I forgot cool weather cover-up). Good mix age groups from fams w toddlers, teens, & dogs, to older couples alone. Very pleasant; wd use again. NB: I wish id known 30A is pretty much cut in half; closed for bridge construction for quite a while - cannot pass (W to E), after old Florida fish house - must go via 98 to reach East side (Rosemary, Alys, Seacrest, Inlet)! Recommend bikes, & golf cart was handy - yes, can park at seaside, but REVIEW 30A RULES IF RENTING G CART WHEN ROAD RE-OPENS.

Top Notch Rental

This is a very nice home in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, just blocks off the beach. It is fresh, well maintained, clean, well decorated, welcoming and very comfortable. The pictures you see on the website are a little outdated - the dining table is now massively long and would have no problem seating 10-12 people. The piano is gone and there are no bikes on the premises. There is beach access directly up the street but be aware there is no parking at this access point. It is a short, very doable walk from the house, but if you're toting kids, beach umbrellas, chairs, gear, etc. you may opt for the beach access with parking that is about half mile down 30A. Both are good options. I would definitely return to this rental. Its very good.

The best rental we have ever stayed at!

The rental and check in process was excellent. And the house was clean and well laid out plenty of room for all six of my family members. I brought my wife, my two kids and two of their friends. The location was also excellent as it was just a few minute walk from the beach. We did rent a golf cart while on property for shuttling back-and-forth to the beach which turned out to be fantastic. Beach access was awesome and the beach was also not that crowded. The outdoor shower and the backyard made it awesome for bringing our family Pet, he also love the beach and the ocean. all of the beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook anything that we desired. the atmosphere in the square was amazing. i give this one 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.
