Welcome to our beautiful cottage, Blue Meadow, steps to the pools, hot tubs and private lakefront. Enjoy all the attractions that Oliver and Osoyoos have to offer all year round! Wineries and restaurants, golfing, Area 27 race track, hiking, biking, water sports, horseback riding and more. OR just sit back and relax and take that nap or read that book. Whatever type of vacation you are looking for, our cottage and community are here to make your stay memorable and fun.

Popular winter activities in Osoyoos include skiing and snowboarding at Baldy Mountain Resort, snowshoeing trails, wine tasting at local wineries, exploring the Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre, and hiking or biking on the many trails. Baldy Mountain Resort offers excellent skiing and snowboarding, as well as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

Top Snowshoeing Trails:

A 45-minute drive from Osoyoos, McKinney Nordic Ski Club offers around 5 km of marked snowshoe trails. Trails are well-maintained, varying from easy to moderate difficulty, making them suitable for beginners and experienced snowshoers alike.
The club operates on a donation basis, so you can enjoy the trails and contribute what you can. Be sure to sign the log book at the trailhead before leaving.

=> Baldy Mountain Resort
About 12 km from McKinney Nordic Ski Club, Baldy Mountain Resort is another excellent destination for snowshoeing. The resort offers groomed and ungroomed trails, providing easy walks and more challenging hike options. The trails are accessible from the day lodge and provide stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Baldy Mountain Resort also offers additional winter activities, so it's a great place to spend a whole day outdoors.

Family Birthday Celebration

The cottage was as described. There were 5 adults with plenty of room for even a few more. We only needed to contact owners on one occasion and they were quick to reply and solve our issue. The cottage was clean and everything was in working order. They also had a nice supply of games and lots of beach towels. Take note if you are there during pool season you can hear the activity from the rec centre on the patio and in your screened in porch area. That being said we would rent this cottage again as it was not that bothersome to us and if you are traveling with kids it would be a plus to be close to the pools.

Amazing place, great value

The property was amazing, super clean, spacious, and has everything you need and more. We were six older adults travelling but if you are a family with kids this place is ideal. First the space is large, in addition to the living room there is a separate sitting room and games room. Both rooms had lots of games and toys. The pool is close by and there is a kids park just outside the front door. The lake is also just a few minutes walk. We travelled with a dog and there is a large enclosed dog area steps away. There were detailed instructions on how to check in and everything was smooth. I had no need to contact the host during my stay but the few questions I had prior were answered promptly. When you consider the price of a hotel room this place is great value. I loved my stay here and so will you.

Great Place to Stay

The property was beautiful and very conveniently located close to the club housr and playground and not far from the beach. The house was very well equip and provided a wonderful place for us to stay.

Cottage Life in the Winter

The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. It was in a great setting with a community centre with a hot tub (pool closed for winter), gym and meeting rooms. We used the cottage as a base to go wine tasting, snow shoeing at Apex and Mt Baldy, and hiking on the Kettle Valley trail.
