SituĂ© dans un bĂątiment primĂ© en architecture, cet appartement moderne de Barcelone a des dĂ©tails impressionnants partout. Des fenĂȘtres inclinĂ©es du plafond au sol, du parquet neuf et d'autres textures design douces accentuent cet espace spectaculaire. Il est confortable et accueillant mais avec un cĂŽtĂ© urbain trĂšs branchĂ©.

Les amateurs de design et ceux qui recherchent cette atmosphÚre moderne de Barcelone adoreront l'appartement. Cependant, le confort élevé et la proximité de la Sagrada Familia conviennent à tous les goûts.

QUARTIER ET SITUATION

L'appartement se trouve dans un quartier historique recherché. La cathédrale de la Sagrada Familia, monument déterminant de Barcelone, est littéralement à quelques rues. Le quartier de l'Eixample Dreta est célÚbre pour ses bùtiments avec de grandes façades balcons et il regorge de boutiques, bars et restaurants.

En quelques minutes de marche dans ces belles rues, vous arriverez en plein centre, le Passeig de Gracia à la mode, le boulevard Ramblas, la Plaza Catalunya et toutes les attractions populaires de Barcelone. Station de métro la plus proche: Tetuan (L2, ligne violette), Monumental (L2, ligne violette), Gérone (L4, ligne jaune).

Dans le salon ouvert lumineux et spacieux, il y a 1 canapĂ©-lit, un lampadaire gĂ©ant, une armoire moderne, une station audiovisuelle et beaucoup de lumiĂšre provenant de ses immenses fenĂȘtres ensoleillĂ©es. Une salle Ă  manger se compose d'une table et de 5 places assises.

LIT ET SALLE DE BAIN

La chambre principale comprend 1 lit queen-size design, des tables de nuit, des lampes et un placard. Une deuxiÚme chambre a 2 lits simples, une commode et beaucoup de lumiÚre naturelle. Dans le salon, le canapé est convertible en 1 lit individuel.
La salle de bain complĂšte dispose d'une baignoire, douche, lavabo, bidet et WC.

CUISINE

En plus de fournir un ensemble complet d'ustensiles de cuisine, la cuisine fraßche est également équipée de: réfrigérateur, lave-vaisselle, congélateur, micro-ondes, cuisiniÚre et four, grille-pain, mixeur, presse-agrumes, bouilloire et machine à café. Le comptoir de bar avec tabourets de bar donne sur un patio intérieur spécial et est un espace supplémentaire pour dßner et socialiser.

Excellent sejour

Excellent sĂ©jour en famille avec BĂ©bĂ©. L’appartement correspond Ă  l’annonce: au centre-ville mais trĂšs silencieux (les chambres en particulier). Nous avons eu une super communication avec l’hĂŽte Ă©galement. Cinq Ă©toiles!!

Great Apartment

Jose was a great host. He met us at check in with a map of the city and recommendations. The apartment was in a great location. It had a dishwasher and washing machine and Jose provided the detergent which was a nice gesture. My family of 3 had a wonderful experience!

Good size apartment with good amenities, everythin works. Well located for various points of interest especially Sagrada Familia. Building is well maintained. Grocery store and pastry shops nearby. Jose the host is very helpful and speaks very good English.

Excellent location and welcoming host!

We absolutely loved our family trip to Barcelona and this apartment was the perfect location! Highly walkable to all major attractions and a comfortable place to rest from all that walking, located in a real family neighborhood which is not as touristy as some other areas. Anyone who appreciates exploring European cities on foot will make their own food and attraction ‘finds’ which are plentiful in the area, and your host Jose has great recommendations. As a family with two vegetarian kids and meat-loving parents, we all loved El Viti for tapas (traditional and contemporary options) and Parking Pita. Also suggest Tierra Tragame for gourmet products to take home (very friendly man helped me make reasonably priced choices) and Conchitos Cafe for delicious Tortilla omelettes and Catalan cakes. Enjoy!

Fantastic Location and Host

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property in Barcelona. Just a few blocks from Sagrada Familia, this property is in a safe neighborhood with easy access to markets, bakeries, restaurants, and attractions. We walked everywhere or utilized the Hop-on Hop-off bus. Our host met us when we arrived and gave us all the information we needed for our first stay in Barcelona.

Great location

Great location and adequate space (was tight for our family of 4). Jose was very helpful. The AC was super helpful in the summer. We walked everywhere except for park Guell. My only complaint was that the two twin beds in the second room were flimsy. My 17 yo kept on tipping his bed and falling off from it.

Great location and amenities, super host

We had a lovely time in this very clean and comfortable apartment. What stood out were the attentiveness of the host (Jose was so nice-- he waited for us when our train was delayed and helped us get oriented to the neighborhood, giving us maps and recommendations for restaurants and transportation options) and unexpected little things to make our stay more comfortable, like umbrellas in the closet, plenty of toiletries in the bathroom cabinet, a roll of paper towels in the kitchen, etc. There was even a little courtyard out back where my son could kick a soccer ball. Nice residential area close to everything--highly recommend!

Had a great time

The apartment was clean and had all the ammenities like an in-unit washing machine and dishwasher. The unit was clean, the wifi worked well. The air conditioning worked well too. Jose was very polite and accomodating. He was charismatic and gave us reccomendations for the city.

Great apartment, good value!

Jose was a great host. Met us at the entry, explained everything about his property, gave us some restaurant recommendations, and even sent us a message a couple weeks before arriving that tickets for the Sagrada FamĂ­lia and Park GĂŒell were selling out over a week in advance! Arranged our taxi to the airport also.

Great appartment to visit Barcelona

Decent Barcelona stay

Our host Jose was very accommodating for the check-in process and provided details to clarify the lodging specifics. The location worked well for us as it is ~5 blocks from the Girona train stop to provide access to Barcelona's transit system. We also felt very safe staying here. As other reviewers have mentioned the bedding/pillows need to be updated. I found the main bed mattress extremely firm and needed to sleep in the second room to be comfortable. A mattress topper would be an easy update. In general, the furnishings could use an update. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room but as mentioned by others, the room is located next to a school playground so if you expect to spend time there during the day and want to have the windows open expect to hear noise as it can be quite loud. I don't think we would personally book here again for that reason.

Enjoyed our stay

We stayed for four nights in September and enjoyed ourselves in the apartment. It is as advertised and Jose is a very good host. Location was great for enjoying the sights. Apartment was clean and the building was efficient and new-ish. The linens for bed and bath need to be replaced and the unit could use some updating/decorating, but otherwise a fine choice for some fun in Barcelona.

Great family location

We had a great time at Jose’s apartment. He is a great host. Communication early and often. He helped us with questions before booking as well as when we arrived. Location is awesome and close to so many sites. Local grocery store great since we have a food allergy amongst our family. He also helped us get a taxi to our cruise port. Will stay here again when in Barcelona. We felt like we were at home.

Great Location

I would stay there again, as the location was great. Jose made the whole process from booking through calling us a cab when we were leaving, seamless and easy! The apartment was perfect. Well equipped and clean. The area is safe , near Metro and at walking distance from many places Quite in a residential area but with a lot of choices for eating or buying food. The owner was very friendly, helpful.

Great location and host

Location was convenient for exploring Barcelona tourist areas and also for experiencing local city life in Barcelona. Great cafes and restaurants all around. Jose was easy to work with before our trip and very accommodating at arrival. Apartment was clean. There is an active playground in the rear plaza of the apartment that can be a little noisy but not a big deal for us. We would stay here again.

Barcelona Gem

Jose is a Super Host. He answered inquiries quickly, met me upon arrival (as I had requested.) Gave out helpful information on Barcelona and about the neighbourhood. The property is as advertised on VRBO and met all of my requirements and expectations. Note that while in a residential neighbourhood, you can access the main sights but this require a willingness to walk about 20 min. to reach various tourist areas. I would be happy to stay here again.

I bought this apartment in 2011, and i have another apartment that it was my own home during 8 years. Because family was increasing i need to change to another apartment bigger, but in the same area that was the area that i like to live. I filled a bit nostalgic to leave the appartment as a my own home.
Since them i have been renting the apartment for tourist and professional reasons. As the experience has been so good for clients and for me. Later i decided to by two additonal appartments in the same building and for the same reasons. And now in 2011 i have bought this one as i dont have enough space for the inquiries, and i like very much the location and the apartment. Right now i own and manage 5 properties in this building.
