Located on the Streetcar line and 4 blocks of the French Quarter, walking distance to Bourbon & Frenchmen street and just steps from many great bars, jazz lounges on St Claude & St Bernard Ave.

We came to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and the location of Jose's home was perfect! We walked to restaurants and events in the French Quarter and were very happy with our proximity to it and Frenchman Street. There are some great restaurants in the area, and everything was so accessible. The apartment itself was perfect for my husband and myself, we both had independent work stations which was useful on the days we were working. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Would highly recommend!

We had such a great stay - the location is within walking distance of everything, the space is cozy and clean with everything that we could have needed! We would love to come back again !

Should really advertise that it is on the second floor and that the staircase is really NOT good for older people. The washing machine did not want to work, although the cleaning people used it daily. Location was seedy looking but just old like everything in NOLA. Was good overall

Great Stay!

I had a wonderful stay at this location! Rhe home was SUPER clean, and looked just like the picture. Checkin and check out was a breeze with digital codes to get in the gate as well as the apartment. The location was perfect! Walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants and a very short drive to the french quarter. Although the neighborhood could seem a little sketchy at first, EVERYONE in the neighborhood was super nice, friendly and even helpful. Will definitely stay here again whenever Im in New Orleans!😊

Very Clean and smelled good.

We loved the location and cleanliness of the Apartment. The property was listed as a first floor unit and then we we got to location it was on the second floor. Furniture was very small and not comfortable. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

A very clean, fresh and cozy space

This is located just outside the French Quarter, and is in walking distance to everything you'd want to see. There is a great Thai restaurant/ bar just a 100 yards away, access to the old streetcar line & buses, a great food store etc. We always felt safe. Our host was very helpful and responsive. The apartment was spotless, had character, was well equiped, and had very responsive air conditioning. This was a quieter area. Was so enjoyable walking the streets, and seeing the street art, big, old trees, many musicians and singers, cool architecture, and connecting with local people. We also had a sense of how local people live, which enrichens the trip considerably.

It was ok.

The place is cute, and the neighborhood is convenient. The kitchen could have stocked with more basic stuff, sugar, olive oil, and ice would be nice. There weren’t enough towels for two people for 3 days. They gave us three drying towels and three wash cloths. The bed is comfortable, although the mattress could be a littler thicker, the bedding is super comfortable. The WiFi wouldn’t stay connected more than 10-15 minutes at a time. Also, the host is slow to respond. We ended up leaving a day early. All in all I wouldn’t book this place again.

Upon arrival, the apartment was 81 degrees F. The plank flooring was separating and coming up. The couch had several large stains. The sheets felt like they were polyester and I found several hairs (dark hairs on white sheets). The grey shower towels had numerous bleach stains. Maybe the owners got new cleaners recently -- I saw several other reviews saying the apartment was very clean. That was not the case during my stay. I would recommend the property owners stay the night here to get the full experience (perhaps furnishings and cleanliness have accidentally declined over time). On a positive note, the apartment was affordable and nearby a trolley stop. Overall I would not stay here again or recommend others to stay here.
