This was such a lovely spot to stay. We loved the play area on the beach for our little guy and pup and walking along the oceanfront. It was truly lovely.

Island tour

Quick 2 night stay w my mom on route to the west side of the island. Home was just as pictures showed, right on the water, quiet, assessable to town, amenities were clean and comforting.

Awesome location, beautiful views, walks

I was greeted with 3 family members later the first night for 4 days, then on my own for 3 more. Loft bed so comfy and private feel with curtains drawn. The Murphy bed was good, couch not so comfy needs a new mattress, could feel the bars, when made up, kinda sags to the middle. Maybe new thick foam in seats? Otherwise fabulous. Never tired of views. I saw and heard barking sea lions, saw a whale, the two rabbits who visited the site often were so cute. The beach felt very private. A few people often. Great food across the street at Black Bird Restaurant. Close enough to town. Town is so quaint, lovely to walk around, couple of nice coffee places. Sandy beaches nearby if u want. Beach front restaurants not far. I would stay again. I do have a sore back, perhaps more me then couch issues. Welcoming hosts via VRBO.

Charming Beachside Stay with Amazing Views (and Fur Baby Approved!

Despite some rainy days, my mom . Sister and I enjoyed our stay at this quaint beachside townhouse . The spectacular views were a constant delight, even from indoors. Our fur babies absolutely loved the place, making it a truly pet-friendly escape. A fantastic bonus was the excellent German Bavarian restaurant, "The Blackbird," just across the street, which we thoroughly enjoyed. This cozy VRBO offers a fantastic location and a welcoming atmosphere for both humans and their furry companions. Highly recommended!

Tranquility at the beach

This beautifully modern one-bedroom loft has breathtaking oceanfront views. The space is flooded with natural light, creating an open and inviting atmosphere. Fully equipped with everything you need (family of 4 stayed comfortably). Its location makes it convenient to explore nearby attractions, shops, and dining, while the quiet building ensures a peaceful retreat. I really enjoyed the layout, it was unique. The view, of course, was incredible as the suite is right on the water. It is steps from the beach and long walks are available. The kitchen was clean and modern with all the necessary basic kitchen necessities. Everything was clean and there were extra everything we needed (pillows, towels, etc). I could tell the host was available if we needed them (but we didn't). Only suggestion for improvement would be a slightly faster internet in case a guest needs bandwidth but it worked well enough to keep 5 stars. Great stay, would definitely visit again.

Qualicum Getaway

Great spot right on the beach in Qualicum. While the building itself is a little bit older the suite itself has been nicely updated. It was very clean and well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The owners were great to deal with and responsive. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful condo on the beach

We stayed in the condo for just under a week. The location is directly on the beach and also close to town which is walkable in about 15 minutes with a couple of not very challenging uphills. The development is on a busy road but faces the beach so traffic noise didn’t disturb us at all because the building seemed to block it. There is an excellent interpretive park and paddleboard rentals just up the beach and restaurants within close walking distance. The unit itself was spotless and well equipped. The Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable and easy to operate. The owners were wonderful - quick to reply to texts and to answer questions. Recommended for small families, friends or couples.

Family vacation home base

The place is great. All you need to stay happy while away from home. We used it as a home base while we took different day trips to explore the island. Great beach area for the kids to play, tidal ponds to catch crabs and see other sea life. We were even lucky enough to see a few humpback whales moving through the straight (binoculars for best viewing) Host reached out mid week to see if we needed anything and reccommend a few things to do while we had some rainy days. Great stay all around!

We had a great stay. The ocean view was spectacular. We had even beach towels which we didn’t expect. The beds were good, the Murphy bed was a little worn out but still good.

Beach front condo with Private beach area

This is a wonderful get-away for a couple or family. There is everything you need and more at the condo. A private sandy beach area and grass area for sun-tanning and for families to enjoy for playtime & outdoor meals, if you wish. Perfect location for quick access to Qualicum & Parksville attractions, hiking, biking in trails, shopping & of course, close by are public beach areas to enjoy as well as restaurants. Second level condo, so must be able to do stairs, but very quiet and private, with a spectacular view off the balcony to watch gorgeous sunsets & eagles nearby. The host was very helpful and everything was very clean and well supplied. There is coin laundry available as well in the complex. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Setting

The place is situated in such a beautiful spot, right on the water. The unit itself is kept in great condition - very clean, everything looks even better than in the pictures. Highly recommend the spot and the unit but the only downside is that the building itself has quite thin walls and there's noticeable noise bleed between units. This isn't the owner's fault of course though. Everything they control is top notch!

Great location.

Property was clean and had all the basic things you need. Close to town. Great walk on the beach hunting for crabs with the kids. Great view of the coast.
